Okay, i went to a party a couple weeks ago and this guy thought i was cute and i thought he was cute to. We exchanged numbers through our friends and started texting and talking to eachother and so now we are "talking." We onlysaw eachother from like 10 or 15 ft away so he might not of seen my facial features. The only bad thing is that i don't get very many boyfriends and this popular cute guy thinks i'm cute and i think once he sees me up close that he won't think i'm pretty anymore. I mean why would a cute guy like him fall for a girl like me? I mean i'm not the prettiest girl in the world but i don't think i am the ugliest either. What do i do?
well, im sure that he's not blind lol. not everything is about looks, sometimes guys may analyze you from afar.. how you act with friends, your facial expressions, gestures... believe it or not. just be confident in that he's not like every other shallow guy.. give it a shot.. and if he doesn't like you, then dont feel bad. at least he didnt lead you on to use you, which would cause even more emotional damage.. respect yourself, love the way you look, reflect that confidence, and you will see how much people will admire you ;)

This is sort of a rare question. You see my father died in August of last year, and now it's just me and my older brother living in the house for now. My mom moved, and I am the only daughter of my dads, therefore half of the house is mine. Anyways at first I was paying all the bills up until 4 months ago. Now I only give so much and my brother is paying mostly everything. The thing is he has ALOT of friends that come over all hours of the day and night. shower,eat,party etc. And I feel it has gotten out of hand because he's a nice guy and they take advantage of that. I was not comfortable in my own house. So I asked him if he could tone it down. Do I have that right? He agreed but I feel like I have some nerve. You definately have the right to tell him. you pay some of the bills, you live in the house, and you cant let anything go wrong. if anything, order is needed in the house, you know? therefore, you did the right thing. why dont his friends shower at their house? eat at their house? theyre friends but theyre not paying the running water, the food.. so dont feel like you did anything wrong. im sure he probably wouldve done the same if the case was reversed. good luck!

- it's not IMPOSSIBLE to get pregnant while using a condom.. because there is a Small chance you can.. not big though. also, the condom may break..
- yes, it does hurt the first time, so it's okay if you feel uncomfortable.. but make sure he takes into consideration your feelings, not just his.
- you can have sex without birth control.. but you can take it if you want to be extra safe.. these are prescribed and have to be taken everday whether or not you have sex.

About a month ago I began dating this guy. He is five years older than I am and has a little girl. But he never got married to the mother of his child. so i just turned 16 and i have only ever pecked a guy and been felt up. thats it! some of my friends have had sex and ALL of them have atleast made out. everyone has an akward first, ill tell you tht much lol. and if you're afradi of missing his mouth because your eyes will be closed, dont pull away when you kiss. stay close to his mouth. dont open your mouth too much dont keep it tight either.. about that tongue kissing thing, if you dont feel comfortable, you should tell the guy, because then he can really tell if you can kiss or not. tongue kissing isnt my style, and i let my bf know.. so if this is a guy you plan to go out with, i suggest being honest with him.. most nice guys like it and dont mind. but, if this is just a random one day kinda thing, i guess just copy what he does, if you feel too nervous, just relax.. tell him, if a guy is evil enough to go around bragging about how good or bad you are, i suggest dont do anything with them. you can tell. good luck :)

I'm 18 and I really need advice. I've been home schooled since the 5th grade because I've been dancing and singing my whole life and I couldn't stay in public school. Well, I've only had 2 boyfriends my whole life, and I've dated but I never did anything with any of them except for the 2. I only kissed the first and I was with him for 3 months, he broke up with me ON our anniversary because he was cheating on me. Then the second one I was with for a little over 8 months and I slept with him. Well, aftet he broke up with me he lead me on for a REALLY long time, like a year and a half and he treated me really badly but I didn't know how bad he really was. It's been 2 years since the guy of 8 months and I have been officially together and it's been a year since we've talked. Well, I found out that he is still talking a lot of crap about me to people and I'm still finding out that he cheated on me a lot more then I knew about. Since that guy I've meet other guys, but every single one of them (and I'm not over exaggerating) has NEVER wanted to be my boyfriend. They ALL have only wanted to sleep with me, and because I don't ever want to make that mistake again, I haven't so all the guys just stop talking to me, they say it's because they are busy, but there have been about 6 since my ex and they all started ignoring me after I told them I'm not going to sleep with them and I either want a friendship or a real relationship.... Now, I have a really good life, I have a job I love, a compete in dance, I'm an A student in college, good friends, and good family. And it seems like the only thing I've never had/met, is a good guy. I'm sorry for making this so long but I feel like I needed to explain. Has anyone else my age/older ever been in my shoes? I know I'm still young but, I feel like I'm never going to find someone. I long to have someone I can hug and hold and call my boyfriend. Someone that for once won't cheat on me and won't call me names and go behind my back. all those guys that come your way are shallow hals. they assume that because you're pretty and have probably had many other guys your way, that you're confident and dont care in giving it up. some are golddiggers, some just want sex, and there are those few, that low percentile that actually look at who you are, and etc. do you have any male friends? perhaps your parents can find a guy for you? it sounds cheesy but sometimes, SOMETIMES parents do know best. you're not alone, this is very common, talented or not. you just need to know how to pick, which is hard. do these guys come up to you, or do you go up to them? how do they approach you? take these thinqs into factor, nice guys do finish last, but with the patience they got they win lol. good luck!!!!

I'm 15. I hate being around my family because they always make me feel like I'm not good enough, I do everything wrong and all they do is yell at me. I live with my Dad and my step-mom. I have for 4 years sience step-dad started getting way too abusive. I don't know what to do. first off, youre not alone, so dont feel isolated. guardian wise i can relate, it can get to you sometimes.. but you need to keep strong. you can cry mama, theres nothing wrong with that, but dont cry all the time, because that can make you feel worse, because you know you shouldnt be crying, especially your guardians causing it. i would be as distant as possible, (this is my method). i stray from my parents, for they cause me hurt, as much as they know, they dont stop. but somertimes you havr to be independent, they wont always be in your life. seek your friends, those who dont backstab you or try to make you feel inferior. those friends you can trust and show you that they trust you with thier life. if you'd like to talk anyone, you can leave me a message in my inbox, or IM me (go to my page and itll show up on the left hand side). people in life will make you break you, and so many things good and bad will happen. but you gotta stay trong. gotta try to survive. show your courageous, because thats all that matters. what YOU think. make the right decisions and you'll be right on track. =] good luck mama!!1!1

well.. the only advice i can give you is, be a friend. dont wanna put you down, but if she has a boyfriend, but also has a crush on another guy, and hasnt seen you as an interest, it most porobably means she sees you as only a friend. its hard to get rid of feelings, but if you come back to reality, you can save yourself the trouble. a girl with a boyfriend and or girlfriend is forbidden, because you can mess up the relationship and the guy or girl will come after you and your friend will be pissed off at you for ruining the relationship. just be a friend, see her as one of the guys. try. good luck

i have a boyfriend of 9 months who really, i love. he loves me too. the thing is recently my friend and his friend started dating and they already had sex so now i feel pressure even though he's not pressuring me. i'm not ready to do that yet and i know my boyfriend will respect it. one of the only reasons i'm hesitant on having sex is because i have really low self esteem and i feel like he'll think i'm fat or we'll do it then he'll dump me or soemthing. he is a really good guy and he wouldn't do that so idk why i always think it. how can overcome this self esteem problem so i can be more open to things like this?

self esteem is about (like you said) how you think and feel. you can either get over your fear and let him be more intimate (ONLY if you KNOW you're ready, not because you think it might help).. or you can work on your body or what eveer the problem you think you have is. if he's been with you for 9 months.. this means he might not be in it JUST for sex. feelings can come and go in 9 months.. but if you guys are still standing strong and you know he loves you, then he's planning to be in it for the long run. i'd talk to him about it. let him know how you feel about your body image. he must think you're beautiful inside and out to be with you. looks are only a plus, because its what you treat him like that counts. remember that :)
