Okay... so I'm 14, female, a freshman in high school. At the end of last year this guy in the grade under me all of a sudden wanted to be my friend. We didn't talk all that much but he is sooo cool and I really like him. Then at the very end of last year he wrote in my yearbook that he loved me. Anyone have the best advice for covering a pimple or the quickest method to get rid of one? (like if I had a dance the next day!)
okay every one insits upon NOT popping a pimple, but honestly, if you say pop it the night before, get ALL of the crap out, wash your face, put medicine on it or whatever, and the next morning apply blemish concealer. at least then it won't be boulging and the redness will be gone the next day. i'd also suggest investing in a facial spa, it's the thing where you put your face in it and it blows steam and opens up your pours and clears them.

not necessarily. it's probably akward saying i love you because after the first time you broke up, you both probably said things you didn't mean. so i would hold off on the i love you's because if your relationship is unstable it's not really the best thing to throw those 3 words around...

God will always guide you to do the right thing, but that will only happen if you put 100% of your faith and trust in him. but if doing drugs and loosing friends is where you want to be in life, maybe that's where you should be...

I wasn't sure what category to put this under by recently my girlfriend / best friend and I just lost our virginity to each other. It was amazing. But then the next night, I get a phone call from her brother saying to go the hospital because my girlfriend's just been raped...by her father. I didn't know what to do, so i just froze and went after her father. I beat the crap out of him and broke my hand. I know that wasn't smart but what he did to her was less smart. He's been abusing her since about the age of 4, I was one of the few people who knew this. She didn't want ANYONE telling the police because her father threatened her. And she didn't want to run away and leave her little sister with her father for fear he might hurt her too.
Well anyway, back on topic, her father went to jail and everyone testified against him. So he'll be in there for a LONG time. My problem is, my girlfriend is still in shock over this. We tried to have sex a few weeks later but she was so scared and still thinks about the rape. I'm not frustrated about the no-sex part AT ALL believe me. But what I'm wondering is if there's anything I can do for her to make her get over this. I want her to be happy again. I love her with all my heart and hate seeing her like this.
Any girls who have been raped, you could probably help me most on this. How did you get over it? Thanks SO much!
wow i am SO sorry. that's terrible. i would just constantly try to make her feel better. be there for her all the time, talk to her, buy her nice things or whatever (it comes from the heart) and just give her time. there's not really much you can do. once again i am so sorry, i wish i could help, but i'll keep you, your girlfriend, and her family in my prayers...

i have these kids i babysit for, and i mean theyre okay and everything, but they dont listen!! i dont know what to do, i even take out my cell phone and pretend to call their moms! theres a 8 year old A.D.H.D. boy, a 4 year old girl, and an infant. i get paid 4$ an hour...does that seem like enough for what i have to deal with?
