Q: Well, about 4 minutes ago, all of a sudden I got a sharp pain in my stomach, & now it is still there. If I touch my stomach it gets worse. It's not like a pukey kind of pain, its like someone shot it. It hurts so bad. I have two questions:
1. What would be the cause of this?

2. How can I get rid of it? FAST!

its prolly gas. that happends to me to. i noe, its a super sharp pain and it feels as if it were something worse.... but its prolly just gas. get down on ur hands and knees and rock back and fourth. lol. i noe it sounds really weird but it really works. it's one of those like crazy remidies that works! i noe because i like live with those pains with all the gas i get but it always works and also, drink a little bit of sprite if you have. it will help push the gas out. i hope i helped

Q: ok basically i've been really bad at math since forever. i was never good at it & i had my geometry final. i studied for a week straight & when i got to the test, it was all SAT math sort've. i got a 65 on it, soo you need a 64 for remediation. i had an 82 in the class, soo now for my final grade i have a C+. like a 78-79. this really disappoints me because i really think i over studied. i know schools over but i keep thinking about how i got a C on my report card. i failed a final before, for biology, but my overall grade was still a B. what do colleges think of this?? i keep thinking since i failed 2 finals over my hs career (im in 10th grade) and i got a C in geometry, i'll never get into college!!

colleges don't only look at your grades. but a C isn't failing. If colleges see that you got a C+ in something, they'll realize that math isn't a particular class that you are good at. they know what they're doing and they're not going to judge you by a class that isn't your best. they take a look at your good subjects too. if your good in english, let's say, they will probably focus on that more than they will on the C+ you got in your sophmore year! hope i helped. good luck :)

Q: Hey im a girl. Im 15 years old. I really like this guy who is a year older then me. We do not go to the same school. So we met on myspace but we live close to each other and next year im going to be going to the same school he is. We met and talked and we also talked alot on aim he was giving me all hints he likes me: calling me his favorite and telling me how amazing i am. Then couple days after we hang out on the weekend it was me him two of my girlfriends and his friend. He was flirting with me and i was flirting with him and i was pretty much positive he liked me. Then we went over to his friends house and everyone else saw we liked each other. They asked me if i liked him and i said yea then they asked him if he liked me and he said he didnt know but i never knew that so i thought he did so i kept on acting like nothing was wrong. Me and him ended up making out for hours. Next morning he was a little akward around me but i knew for a fact he enjoyed making out with me he even told me that. That day i texted him asking him if he liked me as a friend or more because i needed to know. He texted back saying he likes me as a friend. I was really bumbed. Btw my other girlfrined(kelsey) hooked up with the guy i like best friend after an hour of knoning him and did more then make out with him. But going back i was really mad at austin for making out with me and telling me he likes me as a friend. Next couple days i didnt talk to him so he talked to me like nothing was wrong and he stil thinks im the shit and he likes me(he never told but hinted). The very next day i find out he likes my friend(kelsey) who hooked up with his best friend. I was in SHOCK! shes not his type at all! She not very bright or pretty not sound mean or anything but guys never really go for her specially from me to her and so i was really confused. I was soo pissed off also he was doing and tellin the same things he was doing to me. I got over it but then after a week the guy i liked started texting me at night saying he misses me and we need to start over i went and asked my friend why is he liking me all of the sudden didnt he like kelsey a week ago and she just said he was drunk when he texted me. So i kind of just forgot about it but that weekend i saw him and he told me that he doesnt like kelsey anymore so i was like alright. but he was flirting with my other girlfriend and not me. Then he got drunk and everything changed he totally liked me we went to his car and he told me all this stuff that he was afraid he would never get me and thats why he went for kelsey and that he really really likes me and even loves me but i was drunk too(tipsy)So we made out and stuff. Next day he told me he didnt rember anything when i know for a fact he was not that bad to not remmeber anything. So please someone help me? is he PLAYING me? whats going on. Some people say hes way to innocent and shy and had no confidence so he doesnt try to get wiht me because hes afraid to get hurt and turned down.But i really like and i wouldnt do that to him and i think? he knows that. PLease tell me what to do!!!???!?!

just try to forget about it, but if you can't theni suggest you have a serious talk with him when both of you aren't drunk

Q: i know this isn't an advice question, but i was just wondering who was out of school already. it seems like rhode island is the only place going until the end of june. also, when did you get out.

i live in miami and every body already got out like may 16th. i'm in the only school in miami-dade county that isn't out of school yet. we get out the 7th

Q: Hi-
this is a serious situation: I have a great boyfriend, but my ex boyfriend is extremely dangerous and I wonder if I should give up my present relationship and move out of town so my present guy is safe and I will be safe.
The ex is absolutely nuts and he has attempted to hurt someone in this community--I spend most of my time hiding out.
Any answers?

i don't think that you need to leave town. I think that if this guy is really that dangerous, you SHOULD call the police and maybe even get a restraining order!

Q: i had my 13 birthday 1 and a half months ago and my mom threw me a big party where me and my boyfriend slept together for the first time after being together nearly 2 years. after that we agreed not to do it again for a while 'cos i didnt felt ready, i missed my period so i took a pregnancy test and it was posative! i have told him (he is almost 15) and he says he will stand by me what ever i choose but i am so affraid. i feel helpless, please help me :(

i know that it may be scary to tell your parents first... so talk to someone else you trust and ask them for the best way to talk to your parents. Maybe you can have someone else in the family raise the baby until you can. If your mom freaks out when you tell her, don't worry, because the freaking out will have to go away eventually once you have this baby and she's going to be the only one who can help you in taking care of it and stuff. Q: i need to no what to do? i have a girlfriend but she says she doesnt want anyone all in her business so no one really knows we are a couple. how should i handle this situation?

people talk a lot of crap thats why she probably doesnt want anyone to know. dont worry about it. its for the better. her friends probably know she probably just doesnt want everyone finding out because there are some really cruel people

Q: Everyday when I get home, I know I should do homework. But I always find something else to do, like going on the computer, going outside, etc. I'm always up really late. One time I came home and started doing my homework, but my mind was jumping allover and I couldn't do it. Any suggestions?? Thanks and I rate 5's for good answers...

when you get home, take 1 hour and do whatever you want for an hour, watch tv, go on the computer, dance around, watever you want. and then do the easiest work that you have, one that you will do really quickly and then do the hardest. after that take a break, and then do whatever else you have to do. and make sure to drink a lot of water because that helps you concentrate. do you do any sports or anything? because that really helps. if your involved in more activities, it helps you get your homework done faster because you want to finish it quicker. you could also get like an alarm clock and time yourself for every homework that you do... let's say that you give yourself no more than an hour to do math... set it alarm for an hour.. do that for every other homework. set goals for what time you want you hw finished by. for example, you can say, i'm not staying up past 11 today doing homework, and try to fulfill those small daily goals. i hope i helped =) good luck

Q: okay so im a girl. 16 years old. and ive had my period for quite a few years. but i was just wondering if..
1) my breasts have stopped growing already and 2) lately i have had the constant urge to pee and even after i go i feel like i have to again...i was just wondering what it meant or what i can do about it.
3)if it is normal for a girl to day dream about having sex with her crush?

1) it just all depends. certain peoples breasts stop growing at certain times. it just all depends on the person.

2) that use to happen to me, but it was like all in my head. i thought i always had to pee.... if not then see a doctor, but sometimes that happens =)

I started this column when I was 15 years old, so you'll notice that the advice has gotten better and better. I've always been interested in counseling and I started this column to gain experience. But, I found a lot more than that. I found a support system of caring and loving people. I received a degree in child development and currently working towards becoming a school psychologist. So, I hope you can feel confident in trusting me with your questions. This is more than just a fun site for me. I look back on my own questions from years ago, and I laugh when I read about my problems at 16. I've really come a long way! I'm relatively young, but I've had several experiences in life that have aided me in helping others. I hope to use those experiences for the greater good and help others who are not in their ideal situation!
