Hey everybody. I've love giving advice so I'll answer every question I can. If you need any advice on anything, just ask me! A little about me- I play tennis and I love to shop and hang out at my pool with friends. I'll be a sophomore in high school this year so I've had plenty of experience on friendship and relationships. I always try to take my time and answer every question thoughtfully. I don't care about ratings or any of that, I just want to help people out. :-)

what is that one site that tells you if your over or under weight and stuff its like iamfat or amifat i cant remember and i keep typing it in and different things come up
There are lots of sites that calculate your BMI. A few are: http://www.bmi-calculator.net/, nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.htm, and www.coolnurse.com/bmi.htm. There's a certain formula that you can just do with pen and paper but I can't remember it exactly. Those should help!

my dad is a phsyco, and i've lived with it all my life, but now my mom is talking about getting a divorce, at first, i was devistated, but now i want them to divorce b/c i'ld most definatly be happier. AnYwAy, my mom wont talk to me about it anymore and i want to tell her i would support it, how can i do that without sounding lik im a total physco lik my dad???
Next time you are hanging out wih your mom (in the car, making dinner, etc) talk to her about it. Just make sure your dad isn't around. Let her know that you know there have been a lot of problems between them lately, and if they are thinking of getting a divorce you will support it. Tell her that you think everyone would be much happier that way. Just make sure you do it gently. Don't say, "You guys need to get a divorce because dad is a psycho!" That will make her feel pressured and even worse about the situation. Good luck, and I'm sorry you have to live with this!

My best guy friend and I are both 17 and will be seniors in HS in september. We have been friends since frosh year, and became really close last year. I know I can tell him anything and he knows he can do the same. Throughout most of our junior year, I had a crush on him. Yet, I could not tell if he felt the same about me cause of mixed signals. We flirt with each other, hug each other sometimes, and talk a lot online(we both are busy with school). A few times he's even stayed after school for no reason on days that I have my flute lesson and hung out with me. One time, he even calmed me down when I was about ready to haul off and kill one of my best friends for being a jerk to me. He's confided in me a few things and I have confided in him my most private secret. We trust each other and value each other. Yet, I can't read his mind when it comes to me.
It seems like you have a really good relationship with this guy, but it's hard to tell whether or not he likes you. Maybe he's just trying to be a really good friend (which he's doing a good job of.) If you really want to know how he feels about you, ask him. But first ask yourself, do you really want to mess up your friendship? If you were to start dating and things ending up badly after you broke up, you could lose a really great friend.

Both my friend and I have short thicker (thighs, but not massive but we have to go to a party that requires everyone to wear burmuda shorts. I wanted to know where I can find ones that would be more apt to fit our type, at a fairly reasonable price. Places like Kohls or Foleys or where? Thanks!:)

I have a college induction day tomorrow, where they go through your subject choices and you get to meet people at the college... it's a private college (there was a test to get in and it costs alot to go there) and the dress for the day is "smart casual"... would it be okay to wear jeans? A pair that arn't ripped ect... lol I don't have trousers! But if it's not a good idea I can borrow something off my mum :S

If jeans are the only thing you have, I think wearing them would be ok as long as you dress them up. Wear some cute black heels, a cardigan sweater and maybe some pearls or a brooch. Also make sure they are fitted jeans, not baggy at all. Good luck!

sometimes i can not tell the difference between capital and lowercase letters,and sometime i look at words and they are backwards or flipped,also i get confused with the letters "d" and "b" or "y" and "g" or "m" and "w"
Why does this happen?
It seems to me like you may have dyslexia. I'm not a professional so I can't tell you for sure, but you should see a specialist to get it figured out. Dyslexia is a learning disease that makes you see letters wrong or backwards.

ok so the past school year i was a freshman in high school. most of my teachers were disorganized and really mean. does it stay like that all throughout high school or does that change when you get older?

I think you just had some bad luck with teachers this year. Sometimes you have cool teachers, sometimes you'll get some that you don't like so much. Just hope for some better ones next year, and if you get mean ones again, try and make the best of it. That's all I can say, but better luck next year!

ok so i see some cameras come with a printing dock..whats the advantage of this? what are some qualities in a camera i should get when i buy one..any suggestions of what camera to buy? would walmart have decent ones?
Well I'm not sure if any cameras come with a printer dock, but most of them have one that you can buy seperately. They are great because all you have to do is hook the camera up to the dock and you can print pictures without even using a computer. Look for a camera that has high megapixels (atleast 3.1), and appears to be user-friendly. If you aren't a big time photographer you don't want a confusing camera with a whole bunch of buttons. I have a Kodak Easyshare and it's the best camera I've ever used. It's really user-friendly and the pictures come out great. Walmart might have them but I know Best Buy and Circuit City have a bigger selection. And yes you can put the pictures onto photobucket after you transfer them to computer. All you have to do is save and upload them. To send them just email them, no scanner neccessary. Hope this was helpful!

Well i do not know why but my mom says i need more protein in my system.
could people tell me food that is very high in protein for breakfast,lunch,and dinner?
Also,is it true that the more protein you have the more you nails and hair grows?Or is this not true?

my boyfriend jacob seems to totaly ignore me at times and then at times he will talk to me. like, he is sooooo prude. he's never even kiss anyone on the cheek before. im going insane becasue i want to have fun and party, but he is so shy. when ever i ask him a question about "us" he totaly blocks me out and changes the subject. he'll talk to me on the phone and stuff, but i want MORE!

I feel your pain. It's really frustrating when you care about the relationship more than he does. Maybe it's time to end it with him. He seems totally uninterested. If you aren't sure, ask him about it. He may asure you that everything is fine and he still likes you, but if he keeps displaying these actions and you aren't having fun with him, you might want to break it off. He's not worth your time. There are plenty of other guys who would be willing to treat you right.

how long after a break up should you wait before the next chase? I mean like... looking around for new people... if the relationship you've just come out of wasn't that serious... but I don't want to hurt his feelings by jumping straight back in... :S

It's really nice of you that you care about your ex's feelings. But if it wasn't a serious relationship, I think it's fine to jump back into the dating pool whenever you feel ready. Now that you aren't together, you can't worry about him too much now. If you want a number, I'd say 1-2 weeks? That was there's time for the dust to settle and any bitter feelings will probably gone. Plus by this time you've both have time to move on. But like I said, whenever you think you're ready for another guy, go for it.

i really like this guy (lets call him n) but none of my friends know him! but i also like another guy (lets call him z) and i have never said 5 words to him. and my friends know about Z just not N and N is really sweet and nice and i think he might like me but i am not compleatly sure and Z i do not think he even knows i am alive! i mean ya sure i probly said hi to him once or twice but that is about it! and N know i am alive because i talk to him all the time cause well we are kinda friends well more of aquatenses and he is almost the same age as me just likeone year younger than me but Z is one year older then me wich is weird because i am like right in the middle! so wich one should i go for?
I say forget about Z. He doesn't appear to be worth your time. Besides you already have somewhat of a friendship with N, so it would be easier to turn it into something more. You say N is sweet and nice, and if he really is then chances are he might be interested in you too! If it doesn't work out with N you could always go for Z, but N seems like a much better choice.

Ok, One of older friends, she is in highschool, going to be a senior, set me up with her boyfriends brother, we have been talking over the phone and internet for a while, and we finally met. I really don't know how to find out or ask him if he likes me, he told me to call him but he never said ne thing about meeting me. I'm really confused, and don't knwo what to do! I rate high for good answers!!
If he said to call you, go for it! He must have some interest in you if he wants to talk to you on the phone. (Many guys try to avoid the phone at all costs.) So give him a call and ask him if he wants to hang out sometime. If he says yes, maybe you could arrange something for all 4 of you to go out. (Think double date!)

i met this kid last year, dan. i loved him every sicne i met him. he was in a 1 and a half year relasinship with a girl named gina, he broke up with her in march (the beginging) noticed he liked me. gina was over dan,went out with a kid named dom. then april me and dan went out. but we broke up because he missed gina, nd i was starting to like another guy. then me and dan were good friends and then we would get in fights everyother day. in the end of june. and my his finals ended last week. he was gonna ask me back out but i started to like someone else. but now i noticed i love dan soo much. and no one else. but now he works late. i go to summer school. so now he is gonna ask me back out in augest. i really love him, but i dont no if i can wait that long i already waited about a year.

This seems pretty complicated, considering there are more people that just you and Dan involved. If your feelings for him are genuine, follow your heart (I know that sounds cheesy!) and ask him how he feels about you. Maybe he really loves you too, or maybe you're just another girl to girl. If you like each other, what's the point in waiting until August to go out? He works late, you have summer school, but so what? If you really care about having a relationship you will both find a way to spend time together. Hope this helps.

okay so i used to be really fat and lost a lot of weight and now i have stretch marks how do i get rid of them?
Stretch marks go away over time but I think there are special creams you can use on them. I'm pretty sure Olay has products that are specifically designed to get rid of stretch marks. Check your local drugstore.

Well I'm not really getting invited to too many parties. A girl named Katee had a huge party and I wasnt invited...I feel like a loser and left out....any ways on how to have more friends or something like that?
See if your parents will let you have your own party! Invite all your friends, and people you would like to get to know better. People love parties so you're sure to get a lot of people to show up. Recruit a friend to help you plan it if you want, it'll be more fun that way.

Well my boyfriend and i plan on having sex pretty soon and he wants to use 2 condoms for extra protection just incase... you know but do you think that's dumb and is there any kinds of condoms that are like extremely durable and are like guarenteed not to break or anything... please answer... thanx

Be thankful that you have a caring boyfriend who is so concerned about birth control! Most guys would prefer not to wear a condom at all! But apparently it's not a good idea to wear 2. The friction between them can cause them to break. Just get the "heavy duty" ones if you're really worried.
