ok so i see some cameras come with a printing dock..whats the advantage of this? what are some qualities in a camera i should get when i buy one..any suggestions of what camera to buy? would walmart have decent ones?
You would not use a scanner to send them. You'd e-mail them. And yes, you put them on your photo bucket.
I would not go to Walmart for a digital camera if I were you. The thing is, 80% of Wal-Mart's products are from China, and products made in China are usually not too good. Also, everything at Wal-Mart is really inexpensive, so if you don't know a lot about cameras it would be harder to find a good one [because they're all inexpensive]. If you can, try to get a Kodak Easyshare. You can edit your pictures on the computer to look really cool...you can even change some of the colors on the computer and make it look like it just came out of a coloring book. Also it can record things with your picture so you can listen to the sounds along with the picture [on the camera of course]
For qualities in cameras...you should get one that can do all sorts of things...like take pictures of moving objects and take pictures of things at night.

They are great because all you have to do is hook the camera up to the dock and you can print pictures without even using a computer. Look for a camera that has high megapixels (atleast 3.1), and appears to be user-friendly. If you aren't a big time photographer you don't want a confusing camera with a whole bunch of buttons. I have a Kodak Easyshare and it's the best camera I've ever used. It's really user-friendly and the pictures come out great. Walmart might have them but I know Best Buy and Circuit City have a bigger selection. And yes you can put the pictures onto photobucket after you transfer them to computer. All you have to do is save and upload them. To send them just email them, no scanner neccessary. Hope this was helpful!
