Hi, this is Kate. I'm 17. My life motto is 'Live Laugh Love', I really think those are great words to live by and I'm planning to have it made into a tattoo. I'm not religious but I love learning about different religions. I write stories based on things that have happened to me because sometimes I have days where I just think 'wow that sounds like something out of a book'. freshman year was so easy compared to sophmore year. i live in new york and we have regents testing and i had one in almost every subject. i also had a shitload of drama in sophmore year but thats just me.

i went on to www.hivemodern.com and they had chairs kind of like that. truth is if you want quality name brand furniture you're going to have to pay the price for it. walmart had chairs similar to that and they were still about $300. pbteen didn't have egg chairs by the way. so either you splurge for the chair you want or get a chair with a similar design for less.

i do it too but i think it's because i write stories a lot. for example i was sitting at my table eating cereal and there was a thunderstorm, so i narrarated the whole thing and described the rain, and then i just write it down because it would sound good in a story. so try writing it down and then try writing a story or something.

in movies or pictures, ive seen peples bedroom walls covered in a collage of pictures and things from magazines. i love how that looks, and id love to do something like that. how can i attatch the pictures and things to my wall? tape wont hold for that long, so im dont know what to use. any ideas would help!

tape works on most people's walls but i'll trust you and say it doesn't. theres this blue gooey stuff, i know alot of teachers use it for big posters in their classrooms you could probably find it at staples or office depot, thumb tacks could work too or colorful push pins.

i dont think they make skinny jeans for guys, there's only girls skinny jeans that guys wear. i get mine from american eagle, the only thing is that most women arent 6'2" which is probably why guys wear their skinny jeans so low....they won't go all the way up but whatever, so yeah american eagle or aeropostale.

ok, hugs are no big deal, especially with a boyfriend. with me and my guy friends giving hugs is like saying hello. if you're trying to give him a hug and he starts to walk away, not realizing you're trying to give him a hug then just grab his shirt and pull him back or say "hey you, i can't get a hug?"

i know im answering late but you can use this answer for future refrence, there's a browning lotion called Amazing Maui Babe browning lotion and this is the best stuff on earth. its not like other lotions that leave your hands brown and it's not totally fake because you need to be in sunlight for it to work completely annnndddd it has a built in sunscreen so you won't get burnt. i just used it today and i have like irish white skin and after sitting in the sun for an hour i'm about 4 shades darker, no joke this stuff is the best. the only thing is that you have to order it online because its not sold in stores. i bought mine in hawaii and ordered more online. im not sure of the website or how much it costs but this stuff is the greatest tanner on earth!

I have a really hard time being independant. When we ask each otehr what should we change about ourselves they always tell me stop being so needy and acting like a little baby. They're not wrong either. I guess being the baby in the family makes you like that? But i hate feeling bad everytime my best friend hangs out with someone else or being self-consious about standing in the lunch line alone or something. I wish i could just be happy on my own. im the baby of my entire family, all the cousins and second cousins, i'm the baby. strangely i think it's made me an independant person. ever since i was little i always did things on my own, im an only child too. i still know what you're going through. i hate being alone on the lunch line or the bus ride home or going into a grocery store or the convenient store alone. i think it depends on the type of person you are. either you're a people person or you get put into the category of unfriendly loners but then you can also be independant and very self confident. i apologize if i sound corny but its 2am when im writing this. i think the key to being independant is forcing yourself to be. stay home alone more often. i like being home alone but i hate when im home alone and quiet, the quiteness makes it seem lonely, so blast some music. cook a meal for yourself, even if you can't cook. start doing things that make you happy. when a friend is hanging out with someone else of course you're going to get a little jealous but thats when you turn the situation around. become your own best friend and im not saying that you should ditch all your friends and sit at home all the time. just slowly start giving yourself "me" time. it'll make you realize there's a time for friends and a time for yourself. don't see "me" time as the time where you're going to be sad because you're alone. think of it as a time to forget the world, forget any drama and just do what you want. there's a difference between needing company and being needy. blasting some good music can help you seem less alone when you are alone. solving problems as your own best friend will make you seem less needy to your other friends. i hope you understand what im trying to say here, like i said its 2am so only half of me knows exactly what im saying but i think you'll catch my drift, if not leave me a message in the inbox and i will answer it more clearly at a more reasonable hour. i hope i helped a little...

i know from my own experience that guys have a much harder time forgiving someone after losing their trust. i did something minor that lost my best guy friend's trust and im still trying to get it back and this happened about 3months ago. so yes i think they have a harder time when their trust is broken with someone

To start off, I'm 16 Female and I have HIV. It got transmitted to me from my mom at birth, so it wasnt my fault what so ever!! So I asked him, "what would you do if I had HIV?" and He replied "I'd still love you, and i would still have sex with you." Then last night I asked him Again what he'd do, and he replied "well, if we were getting married then yeah I would have sex with you, but if we werent getting married, then no i wouldnt have sex with you " SO i was SO upset! and said how low that was, because his answer was completetly different before, and i also told him that
"if he wouldnt accept me if i had HIV then he wouldnt accept my "secret" " because IT IS my Secret! but he doesnt know what my secret is. so then he said "well if it was some girl i didnt know and didnt love then no i wouldnt have sex with her but if it was you then I would." so I DONT KNOW WHAT I DO! should I tell him now and get it over with??!! tell him now at the beginning of the relationship that way if he is shallow and doesn't want to be with you after knowing that you have HIV then you won't be totally emotionally attached as opposed to telling him after you've been going out for a year and you're head over heels in love with him. sex isn't everything though. even if he did say he'd still have sex with you, you were asking the question hypathetically and his feelings may change once he knows the truth. im sorry if he's shallow and can't accept you as is and if he does then you have a really good guy and should hold on to him. and as always remember to use a condom during sex

i think its ok for rape victims but not for anything else. if a person cant care for a child then they shouldn't have had sex or they could put the baby up for adoption. there are so many families that cant have children, they'd be happy to take care of their child. i hate when people think there are no consequences for sex because of the morning after pill and abortion they can just forget the night ever happened.

I can swallow pasta whole and recently I swallowed a vitamin that was coated in something that made it slippery so it was easier to swallow but not everything comes like that, of course. And I don't remember how I did that. It's really annoying because I just got these pills but I CANNOT swallow them. I've practiced with tic tacs but even they don't go down.
