can you help me find some books to read?i've read all the harry potters like 100 times, all the lemony snicket books,inkheart by cornelia funk,the traveling pants series,like all the books by louisa may alcott,chasing redbird,and mostly all the royal diary books, a lot of others too. could you please give me some advice on series and books to read?

ok i want to compete at where i take dance from but all the girls on there...there like really tiny and flat and im like 5'2 and lets just say im NOT flat but i mean im not fat or n ething but idk if i should even bother trying out or not?

I'm shy around people I don't know. When my friends are talking to their friends that I don't know I get REALLY shy and I hardly say anything. I know people will just say start talking...but for people who are shy its not that easy. I'm just wondering if theres anyone else out there that has been shy and found a way to get over it...thanks.

hey. im really skinny so its hard to find tight fitting jeans like i want. i shop everywhere and i cant really find jeans that arent a lil baggy. i shop at hollister, abercrombie, pacsun, nordstrom, marshall fields, some designer stores u havent heard of and more.. and i cant find any good tight fitting jeans. even the slim sizes arent tighter, they just fit better around the waste. where should i shop? thanxx

i was overweight for a long time and now i am only 8 pounds away from my goal weight. but these last few pounds just WONT COME OFF!!! >__< what should i do?

my aunt has the same problem - she's lost so much weight and is now 10 pnds from her goal ~ she told me that she knows the reason she's stuck is that she can't get herself to exercise, so maybe you have the same problem...sooooo exercise! lol ride bikes, take walks, join a gym, be active!

when ever i take a picture with my digital camera and bring it to my computer it's to big to post in my advice column even when i turn down the resolution on my camera and cut a bunch of the picture off so does anyone have any advice on how i can get a picture that has been cut and it's 116 KB (118,825 bytes) to 15KB or below?

I look at a lot of the questions and then the answers they get..a lot of them have to do with sex..and a lot of the answers are saying it is okay as long as you use protection and you really "love" them. These are usually teens, like me, too! I agree with having safe sex and stuff but my main concern is the actual action of sex. Sex should be something special you share with the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with. At this age, it is very unlikely that you will stay together forever, no matter how well your relationship is going. Are there any people on this site waiting for marriage? Does anyone agree with me?

you're not alone lol...my neighbors think i'm so innocent because i don't even plan on having sex anywhere near soon and they joke bout how i'm gonna go to college and break out and become sex crazed...on one hand, i can understand why many teens don't respect sex as much as i do, but for some reason i do respect it and i know i'd feel guilty or wrong if i went against that ~ i have no problem standing up for the fact that this is how i feel bcuz this is me, and the world would be a bore if everybody felt the same way! :)

i looked up your body mass index online and you're in the normal range (you can do this easily by going to google and typing bmi and picking one of the sites that comes up)

I got my first period over a year ago, July 2003. I have gotten 4-6 periods when i should have had 12. i go long periods of time without getting a period. Like I got one in December and my next one was in March. I have one like every 3-4 months and what really sux about it is that when i actually do get them its not the same day of the month. My first one was on the 1st but i've gotten them anytime of the month. Im really skinny and some ppl say if u dont have alot of body fat it messes up ur periods.. is that true?

being a former gymnast, i understand you completely since thinner ppl and muscular ppl normally get theirs later - actually, whenever you lose weight or exercise more your period might get screwed up (i didn't get my period for 5 mnths once...and it was a gift from God hahaha)...you shouldn't worry yet tho cuz periods usually aren't normal until after like 2 years from the first period...just eat right and if you are still concerned then talk to your doctor - i can assure you that they've been asked similar questions millions of times so don't be shy !

I have this friend who i used to talk to everyday and stayed up until 3 in the morning talkin to her on the phone, but now days it seems like we've moved apart or are not as close as we once were! We still talk but how can i tell whats going on between us? I'll rate high if its good advice!!!

i know exactly what you mean, sometimes it feels like your forcing friendships with people that you used to spend every living second having fun with...i think sometimes we just have to accept the fact that ppl change and grow apart even tho it sux... but things may change back and you'll never know when that friend might need you so keep talking and make sure that your friend knows you'll be there for her nomatter what ~ that's what a true friend is

i used to be a gymnast so that kinda stunted my growth since i was all muscle and i didn't get my period til i was 15, after i'd gotten hurt and stopped working out ~ ppl who have less fat normally get their periods later, but who wants it neway?? lol (and this may be irrelevant, but don't be worried about getting it cuz it's highly unlikely that anybody will notice u have it b4 u do - that was a fear i used to have haha i used to check the chair everytime i stood up for years b4 i got it. wow i'm a loser lol)
