BaBii_Dancer answered Monday August 2 2004, 1:20 am: I think that you should try out and at least give it a shot. So what if you're different looking than all the other girls. The judges should not be looking at that. They should be looking at your commitment to dance - if they gave you a part, would you let them down. By letting them down I mean not showing up, not practicing, not making it your top priority. If you would do those things then they have no excuse for you not to compete. I love dance. I do ballroom - Latin - and I love it. I know it is kind of old, but it is so much fun. And I always make it my number one except when there is school. If you really love to dance and you know that you won't let them down and that you will give it your all...THEN GO FOR IT!!! I know you can do it, but now you have to believe it in yourself.
Jane answered Sunday August 1 2004, 7:30 pm: *Yes try out, you may not be as flat as them but you could probably dance better! Don't let your appearance get in the way, it will give you less confidence so just be glad your not a flat girl and know that you can dance as better than anyone one of them!* [ Jane's advice column | Ask Jane A Question ]
xo_Meg_ox answered Sunday August 1 2004, 7:09 pm: what's the worst that could happen? besides, maybe all the girls are really tiny because nobody who's bigger than them has the guts to try out - - you can be that person! [ xo_Meg_ox's advice column | Ask xo_Meg_ox A Question ]
lil_keefie_07 answered Sunday August 1 2004, 6:58 pm: just because u dont think ur as flat as those girlies doesnt make u any less of a good dancer. if u think ur good enough to compete then ur size should have nothing to do wit it. im a cheerleader, and my cheer mates are all pretty much skinny and im not. im not fat but i dont have a flat stumch yet, but i still managed to make the varsity squad so i guess that means that im just as good as the skinny ones. if ur not bein flat really bothers u, then be extremely motavated and try to improve that.... but i think u should compete anyways, reguardless ur apperance. twizzler2 answered Sunday August 1 2004, 6:37 pm: it shouldn't matter if your fat, skinny, small, tall, flat,or big-your a person with an intrest in dance and you have the right to enter in that competition. Even thou not everyone will win- a lot of people will loose. If you have a talent you should show it off..no matter how u look!! GOOD LUCK!! keep ur hopes up

crystal200022us answered Sunday August 1 2004, 6:36 pm: I think you should go for it! Who cares if they are flat and you aren't. It just means that you have matured more than they have. If you really want to go for it then don't let those girls or anything else influence you. I hope this helps!
