i changed my bith controle pills and i did not get my periods, and then i was scared if i am pregnant i did test at home on the day i am supose to be done with my periods and it showed negative so i did another one after a week just to make sure and it showed negative so am i pregnanet or it is because i changed brand of birhtcontrole pills

Well birth control pills do generally delay or stop your period for a while - so that is why your not having your period.

The only way you could be pregnant is if you never took the pills and you had sex.

Your simply not having your period because you took the pills at a time that would effectivly stop your period for a while.

You'll get your period when you stop taking the pills - you should do this once in a while.

See if a doctor if your concerned but im sure if you stopped taking the pills you'd get your period back soon. Your not pregnant. UNLESS you had unprotective sex!

I don't know who has taught you what but what I do know is you MUST MUST MUST shower/bath everyday. The reason why you smell is simply because you don't wash! But if you have just noticed you smell - imagine all the people around you- that must make them pretty unconfortable.

It's important to shower daily. Think about it - your peeing and pooing more than 14 times in those two weeks - you could seriously catch some sort of disease down there and that is SO unhygenic and not good. Take a bath/shower everyday with soap/shower gel and scrub girl!!

Okay, so i am 15 and in high school. I really like this one guy that i don't have any classes with but i know very well. I know i like him because when he talks to me, i blush and can barely speak in front of him because i am so nervous. So my question is... Can a girl like me ask a guy like him out?

Of COURSE it's totally cool if you want to ask him out.

You like him, you know him - nothing's stopping you! :)

But like someone said below me, hanging out in a larger group outside of school with him would work well best, because if you can barley speak in front of him when your just friends, could you even say anything to him if you went out?

But my advice is to put yourself out there, ask him out! Don't be afraid of rejection, and if that happens, just take it , forget it and just don't let it bother you. As soon as you do that, it ruins the friendship you have. So don't let it affect you.

ok i have two questions here:

one: i have a bladder infection. it hurts soooo badly. not only in my stomach, but also "down there" every time i go to pee. -.-'' WHEN WILL THIS END?!?!! i went to the doctor today and they gave me these pills but so far, i only feel better for a short time and then start feeling like shit again. so yeah. someone know when this will go away? please tell me. im dying.

second: my boyfriends mom asked him if we have been having sex because she says you can get bladder infections if you have sex too much. and he and i had sex 2 times the other day, and then once the next day. we're pretty sexually active. i dont think 3 times in two days is too much, but if i DID get my bladder infection from that, how can i prevent this from happening again? and dont tell me to not have sex, because we use protection every time. so just tell me how i could not get a bladder infection, but still have sex with my boyfriend?

I Have never heard having a lot of sex cn cause bladder infections.

What I do know is ; my mum sometimes has bladder infections - the doctor usually tells her its because she isnt drinking enough water. So for about two weeks my mum makes sure she drinks about 5 glasses a water each day - but usually boils it - so it's warm (and will make her feel better)

It will go if you drink enough water for the next two weeks.

3) Looking at the picture , you grab the the left of the bracelet, and the right and hold in half like the semi circle and then just join the sides up of the other bracelet to make the same semi circle. The you put your hand through the middle and voila!

I wouldn't do it in a email.

Talk to him face to face. Then he can tell you're really serious and that you like him. Words mean nothing when there written. If you speak to him and say how you really feel - you're more likley to sort of "interest him" because its all from the heart.

And though your friend said that he likes girls who love him. I wouldn't say that straight away. Boys can be scared off by that. I mean , if he doesn't like you, and you say you love him, things will be really awkard at school

Just tell him , you really like him and say why ( ie you make me laugh, they like it when girls find boys funny, the majority anyway )and you were hoping you could meet up . Get him on his own, and don't tell you mates what you're going to do ; things can get around and things just totally backfire.

Talk to him face to face. It's also a great learning experience so you're not nervous if you ever decide to date someone else!

ok so... i'm not like a perfect kid or anything but I'm not a bad one either. I'm 18 years old and I don't drink, do drugs, have sex, nothing. I never have and I don't plan on it. My 15 year old sister on the other hand has been mixed up in just about everything. She even got a tattoo and tried hiding it forever. My mom used to get on her so hard when she knew she was getting high and stuff. It took a huge turn at some point and I just don't know where. She keeps everything about my sister from my dad and it makes me so frustrated. My sister has this 19 year old boyfriend we'll call Dustin. Dustin in 19 years old and a loser. He doesn't have a job or anything. My sister would say she was staying and then go to his house instead.. at first my mom cared and then she just like stopped. she would tell me and my dad she was at her friends when I knew the truth... and thennnn she had the audacity to let him stay here at our house. Well... about 2 weeks later guess who's pregnant.. yep.. my sister. They think they're ready to "have a family".. how can they have a family when neither one has a job or any source of support besides my parents. Dustin is in and out of jail and it disgusts me. My dad goes to sleep every night at about 8:30 and around 945 or so my mom goes to get her from Dustins and guess who has been coming with her every single night?! I know it shouldn't be my problem but it is. I don't feel comfortable in my own house an I get so stressed from having to keep it from my dad. Whenever I try to tell my mom how I feel it turns into how "I think i'm so perfect and how I build off of her screw ups" My mom always makes it sound like i'm a bad kid and i'm tired of it. I am such a good kid compared to her.. and not because I want to be better than her, it's because I respect myself...... please help me, I would appreicate it so much .

I know all about this trust me but to tell you the truth your sister and dustin (yes are being stupid) but it will be very rare that they change their mind in wanting to start a family.

From my experiences I know the more you guys think badly against them, the more they will rebel to have this family.

Never lie to your dad - it isnt your duty too, and it isn't fair. Don't be afraid for not telling your dad because at the end of day your mum can punish you - but since she has kept it from your dad- he won't punish you, therefore you won't get into trouble. Honesty is the best policy.

I know how you feel, and your sister and dustin will probabrly have this baby (unless she freaks out because she is emotionally too young to handle the fact she is pregnant) but what I would do is ACCEPT the fact she is pregnant, she has a boyfriend and even if you don't feel it, try to be cool with it. Dustin would feel more welcome, and might step up to be a good man/father if he had the encouragement from his girlfriend's father.

Your sister is too young to see that some things don't last forever and there is a chance he will leave her. They always put their dicks before the head - its just a common fact. As a sister, tell her you accept this desicion, give her the support she needs, let her know what changes like ahead (ie - getting fatter etc - the things teens think about ) You sound like a good person and its not fair you get shouted out more, or told off more but you sister puts your mum in such a bad mood, your mum needs support - she cant tell your dad, and she knows that you know - so she'll take it out on you because she thinks you'll "understand"

Tell your mum if she upsets you, that you're just trying to make her happy, and it would be nice if you could just have her to talk to about stuff. Parents are usually more than happy to have their child talk to them.

About dustin staying over, you should never feel unconfortable. I'd tell your dad about this situtation about him staying over. I think he'll understand more really - the fact that he's got his hands on his daughter. But as much as you have tried your best, I would try to make Dustin accepted and then tell your family you feel a bit unconfortable in your own home and that it would be nice not to have guests around all the time so you can relax a bit.

Your sister and dustin will never change.She's emotionally immature and Dustin half the time is in power over her. All you can do is accept and never be suprised about what is yet to come. Always tell your dad the truth, and tell your mum you'd like to talk to her about stuff, or ask her if you can spend quality time with her - you never know until you TRY. But also being kind to Dustin and letting him know how you feel is another way too.

I'm not promising things will go your way, because I'm going through this stuff to right now, and it's going to stress you out but what you need is your own space and someone to talk too - maybe your dad or a friend. You'll feel more confortable about the situation goes on trust me. You grow fed up and familiar to it.

i know you guys are probably sick of all the damn questions about friends and friendship issues, but i have a simple question: do i have a right to be upset considering the following:

i used to be really good friends with this girl, but then she got a boyfriend and EVERYTHING changed.

the first time she hurt me was when she told me she went to third base with her boyfriend FOURTH months after. and i know you're like, "um well that's her personal business with her boyfriend. no reason to be jealous, girl." BUT she told two other friends who aren't as close with her as i am BEFORE ME. she has never done that to me before. she used to tell me everything. i thought i would have been the first to know...

the second time she hurt me was today. when her boyfriend told me that one of our really good friends got practically raped. SIX MONTHS AGO. she does not know that i know, but those same two girls even knew before i did. this really got me upset.

do i or do i not have a right to be upset with her?

Some friends go to different people for different things. Like she probarbly told the other girls because she actually MIGHT be closer to them when she needs to confide in someone, or if they are pretty good adivce givers.

Also, if one of your good friends got raped - you should be more angry with her for not telling you than your actual best friend. Why should she tell you? Being raped is something confidential..maybe your best friend didn't want to embarass your good friend like that.

Your a little senstive howver I would be angry like you. Just let that go a little. Your best friend has other friends, and talks to them for different things, so let that go. SHe doesn't have to be tied all the way down to you. Not that im implyin that you want her to be.

I gave all my friends photo albums last year and they totally loved them - i had old cinema tickets, old pictures to new pictures.

Alrighty, well... My friend and I were talking on IM about lacy panties for some reason. And I told her that they were pointless. Who's gonna see them anyway unless you go around flashing people? Well, she said maybe your bf or husband may wanna see them soon. I thought that was yucky. Well, as the conversation ended, it made me think about my body. My butt is like, huge. It's from sitting from front of a computer for the past two years. 0o; Well, that and my face has a lot of blemishes from scars and pimples. I think you should ask your friend if she could do the makeover. You should defiantly go for it! You just might like the end result and find some postive things about yourself. Not everybody is confortable with themselves, but sometimes a little makeup or something can actually make you smile. I'm not suggesting sexy lacy underwear, but maybe go out with a friend and buy some accessories, or clothes [or underwear if you want] & get a second opinion. Sometimes all we need is a little push or budge from a friend. Don't think about the things you cant wear or dont look good in, think about the things you do look good in and expand in that. Let a friend do a few differnet looks on you. If you like the computer you like the computer - just when you go out and about - make the effort to look different -you'll feel like a new you! & So what if you have scars and blemishes. Most teenage girls go through spots and stuff. Anyone who can't see that are pathetic. And one last thing, having a big bum is a plus! A lot of people find that attractive! K this sounds kind of stupid but I am 14 and almost 15 and still have not had my period. I know that up til 16 you are ok if you don;t have it. but it is kind of embarising because all my friends are like 'don't you think tampons are such a pain' I don;t want to lye but I don' t want to feel like a baby. I have been getting like a whole bunch of whitish yellow stuff in my underware, do I have an infection? I want my period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really don't have anything to worry about

First of the white stuff is not an infection its discharge and almost every teenage girl gets it. it's there to just cleanse your private part from any diseases or anything. Its perfectly natural.

Secondly , you will get it eventually! Usually you have to put on a certain amount of weight first and also its just the way your genes are.

Thirdly - having your period is not the greatest thing in the world i wish i never had one. you can feel ill and tired. You dont want to do anything, you feel unconfortable, and unweary and somtims very hormonal and usually you can be in pain so count yourself lucky

With me, i was fourteen when i got mine, last year [im now 15] . I realised that my period was coming because the white stuff , called discharge got REALLY heavy - if that happens start carrying extra underwear and pads around. I wouldnt use tampons straight away because it is true, when you first put it in they do hurt, not a lot though.

Just because you dont have your period doesnt make you a baby. your friends are ust developing quickly, you will too - eventually. And also, being on your period can be very annoying - your skin is more likley to get spotty and your hair greasier. Im not trying to put you off your period but if i was you - i'd enjoy not having it for the moment

Ok So, I'm 15 and my friend is 14. There's this guy that is 22 and she realy likes him. We talked the other night and she told me a whole bunch of things that really concerns me. First, This 22 year old guy that she likes has a girlfriend, and she is also one of my friends. Second, everytime him and her hug, he grabs her boob. Some girls are so blind that they dont realise what they are actually doing. I know you are suprised that your friend would do such a thing but there could be many reasons why she let him - she might think he wouldn't be interested her anymore or maybe she thinks she's mature enough to have sexual activity. I think you should remind her he does have a girlfriend - it might make her see that no only is he getting a piece of her but a piece of his girlfriend too - it's like he gets what he wants when he wants. If she doesn't listen to the advice that you give to her maybe you should think about telling his girlfriend - since she is your friend. If she found out you knew how angry would she be with you? Remind your 14 year old friend the concequences of her actions, and if she doesn't listen - tell th girlfriend the truth , even if gets angry at you - least you know you stopped the worst from happening
