My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

hey im 14 and well my mom doesnt really let me go out shes very picky and i was wondering if maybe anybody knows ways to go out with out making it obvious.

Sneaking out & lieng to your parents is a bad idea. They ALWAYS find out!! You need to have a talk with your mom. Not just arguing for not letting you go out, but have a talk with her. You're 14! You need to go out & have fun. Being a teenager isn't all about staying home and doing nothing. Tell her that it's not fair that you can't go out with your friends. Have you done something in the past to make your mom not trust you or whatever?? Show some responsibility around the house if you haven't. Help her out, talk with her, just be nice & keep it up. If she seems different then ask her to go somewhere. I understand if you asked to go somewhere where she might not aproove of and she said no then that's fine because you just have to put yourself in her position. Tell her you just want to have fun & that you know your limits and that you won't do anything stupid so she needs to trust you.

ok i know it seems weird soem girls just talk about how horribel it is to have small boobs but i feel insecure about myself becasue i have realy big boobs adn i am only 13 i have a size D cup and i here guys talk about girls who have big boobs liei soem of my friends and say how big boobs are hard to work with and that big boobs are good to a point i dont knwo if i shoudl try to reduce the size of my chest or keep it normal i need help thanxs so much and no stupid remarks pleezzz

Ah, you need to be happy with your boobs!! You're lucky that you even developed because most girls barely have anything. You probablly look great in clothes & you just need confidence. If you like how they look don't do anything about it. Don't do it just because of the guys because all guys have different opinions. If you're thinking about plastic surgery once you get older, don't do it. Ehh.. such pain. Anyways, you're only 13. You will mature more & grow and your breasts will be normal. A lot of girls have big breasts at 13 and there is nothing wrong with that.. notta!

What do ppl mean when they cut theirselves?? they just take a sharp object and make themselves bleed?? sry i just dont get it

A lot of people use different things to do it with. They can take those small sharp scisors, knives, metal hangers, paper clips ..etc. All of those things can hurt you and leave tons of scars. If you hit a vein, you're pretty much screwed. Anyone who does it really need to stop! I don't see what they can get out of it & it DOESN'T help you with your problems and you have to be smart enough to want to know that. If people want to ruin their lives being depressed over things they CAN control then that's just their problem & they should get some help.

okk well i`m 14/f when i shave " down there " sometimes i get little red bumps that kind of hurt. i don`t know what these are , but i don`t want to stop shaving . what should i do?

I'm not really sure what that could be but it's nothing serious. I think it's because of your razor and you probablly got a razor burn. Do you use shaving cream?? Make sure you do and that you don't shave upwards but shave downwards. After you shave, use lotion.

well you see my period right now is REALLY heavy..i have to go to the bathroom like every 15 minutes because its so heavy..i havent done anything yet so far for break because of this..i dont know what to doo! i wear pads so please dont even say anything about tampons, i have my reasoning..and i want to go somewhere but it revolves sitting somewhere for like 4 hours and i dont want it to leak thru! what should i do =\

Since you can't think of a solution for this, nether can I. I'm never that heavy so I don't really know what to tell you. Ask your mom or maybe she can call the doctor and put you on birth control.

Hey .. ok there is this girl .. she used to be my friend .. but now she is all mean for no reason. She sounds like a bitch so why are you trying so hard to be her friend? She is doing that because she likes the attention & if she has to do that then that's just sad! Don't be like omg why are you mad at me because she will keep doing it. Ignore her & your friends aren't your true friends because they wouldn't do that to you. I discharge so much its just disgusting. I've already started my period. Sometimes in the middle of the night I will wake up and have to change my underwear cause I disharge alot. Is there anything I can do? I hate always feeling "wet"

You should star wearing pads. I'm not talking about those pads you wear once you're on your period, but smaller & thinner ones. You don't even feel them & you won't discharge on your underwear. You can buy them anywhere. Walmart, Target, Walgreens & they aren't expensive. I suggest you get those because they will help.

Does anyone know if the boys like the smell of britney spears curious perfume? I just got a box of it and lotion for christmas. So i was just wondering.

No one for sure knows the right answer to this question because everyone has different opinions. I actaully like the smell. Most guys who like softer smells like it, some don't. I don't really think guys look to see what you smell like though.

It's okay to drink sometimes even though you need to be 21 but no one ever actually waits. I love to drink but I never do & I don't do it regularly to get drunk. You should do it for New Years. That's when most people do it. Now make sure you know your limits & be careful not to get too drunk or you'll just end up puking it all out. If your parents have any margaritas then you could take one of those. It has only about 3-10% alchocol & they're really good!! You can also mix vodka & orange juice.. lOl There isn't really anything you should be feeling guilty about. You aren't doing anything thats going to get you in so much trouble so just do it a little if you really have an urge.
