I found some amazing jewellery there that I would like to order, but the prices are surprisingly cheap so I'm slightly doubtful whether the website itself is legitimate or the jewellery horrible quality?
Has anyone ever had experience with this website, or can you tell whether it is real or not?
Thanks!
It seems legit to me. See:

if someone hacks onto your computer from theirs would the ip address for when they do stuff come up as yours or theirs?
What kind of "stuff"? They could use your computer as a proxy to protect themselves while they do something illegal; in that case your IP address would be visible to the victim.
If the connection is
Hacker You Victim
then you can see the Hacker's IP address and the Victim can see your IP address. More likely the connection will be
Hacker Zombie You Zombie Victim
In that case each member of the chain can only see IPs of those adjacent to themselves.

Please could someone explain to me how to use them? Like some websites have RSS Feeds but I don't understand how they work and how I can use them.
Any help?
Thanks!
If your browser supports RSS, clicking on the RSS icon will add an entry to your bookmarks list which updates with changes to the page. Every time the RSS'd page changes, the entry in your bookmark will reflect the change. This is very useful for tracking every update to news sites, webcomics, and forums. A site must make an RSS feed available for you to use it; not every site supports it, and most sites only support it for the main section of their site.
To try RSS, go here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS
Click the RSS icon in your browser. It might give you a choice between RSS and Atom - choose RSS. Then click "Subscribe to this feed" or "Subscribe now". It will give you a similar dialog box to the one you get when saving a bookmark; save it like you normally would.
To view the RSS feed, go to your bookmarks. In Firefox there will be a folder containing every recent change to the Wikipedia RSS article. In Internet Explorer there will be a separate section called "feeds". Click this and select the "recent changes" feed. It will show a detailed page of all recent changes to the Wikipedia RSS article. Other browsers work similarly, there is always a close connection between bookmarks and RSS feeds.
RSS is relatively new, so if you're using Internet Explorer 6 or another old browser you will not be able to easily use it. Upgrade or switch to a better browser.

I've been reading ads about getting paid to do internet surveys. Is this for real? It feels so badly like a scam, can somebody explain to me what these paid internet surveys are? Where should I go if I want to be safe?
They pay you only a small amount. You get paid less than $1 per survey, and surveys often take more than an hour to complete.
CashCrate is a directory of legitimate "Get paid to ____" sites:
http://cashcrate.com/371956 (referral)
Use the "Show only 100% free offers" feature and use a throwaway email address because most of these sites will send you tons of spam (though CashCrate itself will not). CashCrate also pays to you sign up for these sites, so you maximize your earnings.

(Operating on Vista) At the moment I use windows key + L to lock my laptop, and then it goes to the seperate "locked" screen. I was wondering though, is it possible to lock my laptop so that my desktop and everything still shows, or if I left internet open, then the page is still visible, but it's locked so nothing can be done/clicked? Basically, as if my laptop was frozen, but it really isn't...
I hope this was understandable, and sorry if it wasn't.
Thanks!
I don't know any way to do that, sorry. It can't be done from within Windows; you'd need a separate program.

Does darkness/lightness have anything to do with weather? Cause like, I stayed up all night tonight. And it was storming when it was dark, and I didnt think anything of it. Then it started getting light and it seemed like it stopped storming. Then it started again later. But Idk, does that have anything to do with it?
Yes. Weather is caused by differences in air temperature, which the sun affects

What program would I need to buy with my MacBook to get the program "Photo Booth"?
Current versions of OS X come with it bundled. So if you're buying a new MacBook, it is probably included.
If the Mac you have now doesn't have it, then you can't get it for that computer without upgrading OS X to Leopard.

That is supossed to be for the box LEXT to that one (The one with the scribbled out word in it)
I accidently typed that there and paint wouldnt let me change it
I typed out the words I'd like written incase my handwritting wasnt readable
I would like the background to be BLACK
With purple, pink, and lime random colors in it
Make my text white please
I'll rate a FIVE once I get the layout
THANKYOUU
Why would any of us spend hours making you a Myspace layout? Especially when you didn't bother to take the time to draw a proper mockup, and you change your layout every few weeks.

Yo Said:
Create two ISOs from them with SmallDVD and burn them to two DVDs with Disc Utility.
I'm confused about that. I now have my file at 1 hr 59 minutes so it would fit onto one DVD now wouldn't it?
You can try. I don't think it will fit on the DVD without cutting it in half.

The file is 6.08 GB. I can lose 34 minutes from the start and 15 from the end of the file. The first 35 minutes is TV commentators blathering on about stuff. The end 15 is the same. You're talking to the most technically inept person there is when it comes to me.
If I want to split this or take out 20 minutes I'll be damned when it comes to how. How much do I need to edit out? How's that achieved? I'm still using a MAC.
I don't want to lose any of the 100 laps.
Use this:
http://www.squared5.com/
Open your video file. If it won't open, you probably need to install this Xvid codec:
http://n.ethz.ch/student/naegelic/
Move the slider to immediately before the part of the video that you want. Go to Edit -> Select in, then Edit -> trim. Move it to after the part you want and go to edit -> select out, then edit -> trim.
Go to file -> save as to save the video.
Move the slider to the middle of the video. Write down the time that it's at. Go to edit -> select out, then edit -> trim. Export the video with file -> export to AVI. Use these settings:
-Compression: H.264
-Quality: 70%
-Multipass: optional (will increase quality, but also encoding time)
-Sound: MPEG-4 AAC, 192kbps
After that's done, open the file that you saved with "save as". Go to edit -> go to time. Enter the time that you wrote down. Go to edit -> select in, then edit -> trim. Export the video with file -> export to AVI.
(I'm looking at the Windows version of MPEG Streamclip, so the specific menu wordings might me different for you.)
You now have the video cut into two halves. Create two ISOs from them with SmallDVD and burn them to two DVDs with Disc Utility.

It's me again. I'm the individual who asked how to burn a torrent to DVD using a Macintosh. While your advice was fine there is no way my machine will burn the file to a DVD. I have no idea what's wrong.
The DVD I have says 120 Mins. However, that same DVD allows me to record 8 hrs of TV. The file is 2 hrs and 48 mins. It's a copy of the 2009 Indycar season opener. I had to join an underground torrent group for autoracing to get it. All I can do is watch it in Itunes.
My next question for you might be easier. I'm not looking to do anything illegal but wanted to know if I can pick up VERSUS over the Internet or not. In Canada the cable company is blocking it and live airings of my races. It's pissing me off as my family refuses to change to satellite over the cable company.
The amount of video you can put on a DVD depends on the quality of the video. 120 minutes is perfect quality, 8 hours is very poor quality. I believe that SmallDVD adjusts the quality so that it will fit on the DVD with the best quality possible.
How big is the ISO file SmallDVD created? DVDs can hold 4.7GB. If it's bigger than that, you need to split it. What happens when you try to burn the ISO to the DVD with Disk Utility?
There is no VERSUS stream available that I could find. Sorry.

I am an amatuer photographer. i have a 9megapixel digital camera, but im wondering if i need a better one. also, any tips or techniques would be greatly appreciated. and is it possible to take an online photography class? thanks in advance ;)
That's plenty. More megapixels is not necessarily better. Anywhere from 6-12 is good. Higher and images will be dark and less colorful, lower and the quality will suffer.

I need help trying to put a torrent I downloaded onto DVD. I can play it just fine in Itunes but want to be able to do it from any DVD player. I'm on a Macintosh with 10.4.11 as the operating system. The torrent is an Indycar race that is 2 hrs 48 long.
Use SmallDVD to create a DVD image:
http://www.smallsoftware.co.uk/smalldvd/
Follow the instructions here:
http://www.smallsoftware.co.uk/smalldvd/smalldvd-guide/
Disc Utility comes with Mac OS X. It can be used to mount the iso file without burning it, and also to burn it to a disk.
I believe that a single DVD will be able to hold the entire video. But if it's not, cut it half with this, make two images, and burn both:
http://www.squared5.com/
Alternatively you can use the paid iDVD (part of iLife) or Roxio Toast.

I i had my laptop for a wile now its never crashed or had any problems with it. but lately it takes like almost 15min to load up when it starts up so i was to clear it like so its has no memory i dont have any of the CD's that it came with I HAVE NOTHING NO CDS what can i do...i have a Dell Inspiron 2200
You need an install/recovery/restore CD to do that. You could buy one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16837116193
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116469
Get the same version of Windows that you have on it now. A laptop with XP is too slow to run Vista, and it would be foolish to put XP on a computer capable of running Vista when XP is nearly end of life. Get XP Home or Vista Home Premium, and do not get an update version. The links above are correct and competitively priced.
A tech support place might do it for you, but it would probably be cheaper just to buy the CD. Make it very clear to them that you don't want them to backup your stuff, otherwise they'll mess things up.
You could also obtain an install disk (NOT recovery/restore/update) from a friend, but this might violate the license terms and cause problems with WGA. You'll need the license key on hand while installing.
