I've been reading ads about getting paid to do internet surveys. Is this for real? It feels so badly like a scam, can somebody explain to me what these paid internet surveys are? Where should I go if I want to be safe?

Do not apply for them because it's a waste of time and it fills your e-mail inbox with a bunch of useless shit.

However, I do know that most of these sites are scams, but there are quite a few that are real -- you get paid very little for those ads and probably aren't even worth it, in my opinion. CashCrate is a directory of legitimate "Get paid to ____" sites: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) (referral)
Use the "Show only 100% free offers" feature and use a throwaway email address because most of these sites will send you tons of spam (though CashCrate itself will not). CashCrate also pays to you sign up for these sites, so you maximize your earnings. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
