Not so much technology, but definitely advicenators.
I've been reading questions recently, and noticing more and more that someone will post an answer, and the next person will say something like "I would like to point out to [insert advicenator's name here] that this person was not asking THIS, he/she was asking THAT." or "[insert advicenator's name here], you're WRONG."
If an advicenator is wrong about something like a definition, it shows in the rest of the answers that come up - it's unnecessary to tell them they're wrong.
Does it bother anyone else when advicenators bicker, or pick on other advicenators' advice?
I dunno, I just thought this was a site for people to help each other.
Am I wrong?
I think that its all in the way the person says it.
The goal here is to help people out.
If a person answers the question incorrectly, the person who asked the question should know, right?
So, to an extent no it doesn't. But if people take it too seriously, yes. If they just say "persononadvicenators was wrong when they said that, its actually just the opposite" then i dont think there is a problem with it.

I have a 9 month old German Shepard that I just got for Christmas. From what we know it has never chewed anything yet but it just tore up my couch. On top of that it has started to piddle in front of me. Not all the time just now and then. Though it does it in front of female women all the time. Any advice?
When you see it getting ready to pee, say "no (dog's name) really firmly. Then when if it still pees, show it the spot and say "Bad" or "No" firmly. You can also send it outside for a little while just in case it still has to pee. The dog will get the idea.
If this doesnt work, you can always call up your vet and see what they recommend.

My friend, Jayelle (16) is very into drugs and although I have been friends with her for three years, I'm way different than her. I'm not into that and no one can influence me to do so. However, she's ruining her life and she doesn't care and slowly she's trying to drag me with her.
Her parents don't know that she uses drugs and I don't see how. She's always high and she has drugs in her room. They're clueless. I don't feel comftrable being around her anymore and I have talked to her about it but it goes in one ear and out the other so I stoped trying.
She got upset with me because I did not want to hang out with her because of it and I honestly did not feel guilty for it.
Here's the problem. Both Jayelle & I got invited to a college party but I would not go because they're crazy and I did not want anything bad to happen but she still decided to go. She called me at 2 in the morning asking me to come pick her up. I'm also 16 and I don't have a car of my own so there was no way I could leave. I felt really bad because I knew she was in deep trouble. High, drunk and with a bunch of older guys. I freaked out so I called her older sister who is 18. She acted calm and went and picked her up. I got a phone call from Jayelle the next day cursing me out and blaming me for getting grounded. I felt really bad but I honestly don't feel like it's my fault.
Even though I don't want to be friends with her because of the things she does, I still don't want anything bad to happen to her. Her mother found her drugs and basically cursed me out for it because I didn't go with her to the party and "protect" her. I was shocked.. hearing that from an adult! My mom took my side and is proud of me for not following into her footsteps but there is a part of me that feels horrible. What do I do. Thank you so much!!
I think you need to tell this girl that you cant hang out with her until she stops doing drugs.
Its a sucky situation, and you just have to move on.
Shes an idiot for using drugs, and you should be proud that you wont let yourself be influenced to do the stupid things she does.

Limewire is illegal.
And yes, it is likely for it to give your computer viruses, although it doesnt always give computers viruses
I had limewire, and it ended up giving my computer such a bad virus we had to restart everything, it sucked

I know I like guys.
I have actually been pretty boy-crazy all of my life.
But then I saw the male....parts, and I really
wasn't that "turned on" by it. In fact, I thought
it was kind of gross. Does this mean I'm a lesbian?

No, it doesn't necessarily mean you are bisexual or a lesbian. Yes, you could be, but right now you are just curious.
You might be bi, and it sort of sounds lime it, but this also might just be a phase. If you are bi, don't worry about it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you.

I take pointe. A few months ago, I bought my first pointe shoes and toe pads. My shoes don't fit my feet well at all because I was fitted improperly. I also didn't like my toe pads. Do any dancers on this site have any reccomendations for shoes and toepads? If it helps you, I have a wide foot and a very good arch. Thanks!

I don't know how professional your school is, or if its just like a recital school. Not saying thats bad, but more professional schools will work you harder, in that case you'd want to get a harder shank. But since you are a beginner, you should try a soft or medium shank. Again, I think you need to go to the store to be fitted once more, but after you are sure of your size, go to www.discountdance.com . they have really good deals on shoes.
For toe pads- the gel ones suck. You cant feel the floor at all. So go with regular ouch pouches. i usually dont use ouch pouches, but just tape my toes instead. i dont recommend you doing this as a beginner (ive been on pointe for nearly 5 years) my feet are so gross from blisters and stuff haha.

Okay I'm 13/f he's 14/m [ going to be 15 in January ] , we've dated off and on for 6 months. We were really serious for a long time back in June - September then when he went into high school [grade 9] and I'm still in grade 8 [we go to diffrent schools until next year] Amyways , I lost my virginity to him and a while after he started grtting stressed from highschool and smoking [ I smoke to ] and doing weed [ I do it too ] and he's changed some , but he's still the guy I used to be so serious with and he knows I really love him still and the problem is he's dating my bestfriend [it's not as bad as it seems] but he likes this other girl too .
So , he does like me though . So , I was wondering how I could try to get him to like me more.If it helps , he's pretty family oriented , I talk to his mom a lot , he's played baseball for 9 years , he dislikes school and he's really sweet and I can talk to him about anything .
Also , I know some of the chocies I'm making aren't the most amazing , but I'd rather not have lectures please , I get them enough from my friends and teachers.

16f okay well me and my bf have been going out for only a month. and usually my relationships go realy slowly like it takes a month for us to just get comfortable with eachotger. but this guy is so diff!!! we are really comfortable with eachother and already moving on to the next level. and sometimes i just feel like this is too much of a good thing. like we are getting attatched way too fast. but in a way it feels like the right thing to do. anyways my question is, is it okay to do oral after only going out for a month? and im kinda rusty with all that so im kinda freakin myself out....i mean hes my bf i shouldnt be afraid....but idk. any tips oradvice will help on any of this. im not sure if it makes sense but ya lol
We cant go into great detail about oral, so you can just google it. And if you are ready to do it, then yes, its okay. If you arent sure, you arent ready, and you should wait til you are ready..if you get what im saying

Okay. I'm 17 & he's 39.
So i recently moved in with my dad & one of his friends & my dad's friend & i started talking & then we started texting. Now our relationship has gone further. We been kissing & having sex for over two months now! I don't feel bad about our age gap because i dont think that there's age for love. The thing is that his son knows & his ex wife thinks we are dating & she keeps threating to tell the police. I really do like him & he doesn't act anything like a 39 year old. I'm just not sure if our relationship is worth hiding until i'm 18 [in 84 days!] Sometimes its getting harder to hide it but i do want to be with him. I dont want to dissapoint my father but i think that he has an idea, sorta, about our 'friendship' [we stay up & play chess when my dad is home]. His son is going through a hard divorce [not literally since they were never married] & i help him out with his troubles. What should i do?
Honestly, i think you should date people your own age. you have your whole life ahead of you, you are still a kid! hes 40, old enough to be your dad. what hes doing is illegal, and if anybody finds out, he can be thrown in jail. stop the relationship now, before things get worse

Sister - does she have a favorite band? you can buy her a(insert favorite band name here)poster, cd, tshirt, etc. if she has an ipod, an itunes giftcard or case for it.
Grandma - can you knit? make her a scarf. if you cant, you can buy her one. one year for christmas, we got my grandma this bear, but it was like covered in wax and smelled really good, so it was like an air freshener.
Grandpa - if you want it to be special, i think you should come up with this one. nobody on this site knows your grandpa and what he really likes
Dad - offer to take him to an ice hockey game..? bake him cookies, or his favorite dessert. or you can give him a "coupon" for one night where you cook him dinner. sorry thats the best i can do! ha
Brother - you can get him a giftcard for Dunkin Donuts or something like that, maybe to his favorite restaurant, or bake him cookies

I know that this is probably no worried nothing to be worried about, but...
First off, I'm fourteen/female.
I have some pretty large lumps in one of my boobs. It's hard and I only noticed it today, though I've been having breast pain/soreness for the past week or so. I'm also late on my period, though it's only by a few days.
I know that I'm young so it's probably nothing. But is there anything that this could potentially be, and should I get it checked out?
