my hair is so short its pissing me off first of i want to know if anyone knows how long it actually takes for like an inch or so to grow back? And if anyone has any good ideas for things to do with short hair? i can barley put my hair in a pony tail it looks so stupid help please :)

hair grows at approximately 1/4 to 1/2 an inch per month. if your hair is cut in layers, you could straighten it and flip out the ends. then get this stuff called Garnier Fructis Wet Shine and itll help the ends stay flipped [or hair spray] and gives your hair a piecey look if you dont use much. once you get the hang of it, it looks really cute!

and silent mode is just what tina said.. its very convient because most samsung phones in particular have a very obnoxious noticable vibe.. which kinda defeats the purpose.

Do you think that the age differnce of 17 to 20 is bad? 17/F 20/M

mmm.. its not too bad. if you just turned 17 and he's fixin to turn 21, then no i dont think its a very good idea. but if youre closer to 18 and hes not far from just turning 20 or whatever, then its fine. when you're a little older, age difference doesnt matter so much.. so just make sure he's a kind, mature, responsible person before you jump into a relationship with an "older" guy, and you should be ok. the most important thing in a relationship is standing your ground. as long as he doesnt try to pressure you into anything or try to control you, and you certainly dont let him, it shouldnt be bad. good luck =]

hey.. i had mine done 2 years ago.. oh how i miss it. haha, anyway. yeah its really not good for your hair because its a lotta chemicals therefore a lotta damage, but if you want to do it, its so worth it for the straightness. and they put a lot of conditioner stuff in it so it doesnt look and feel so fried. honestly though yeah it really isnt good for your hair.

yeah definitely not. i agree with the previous columnist and it's going to do nothing but put you in a bad position. think about it:: how would you feel knowing that you helped him cheat on that girl? what if you were her, would you wanna go through that? do you want that reputation that kissing him will give you? what do you think's gonna happen.. you`ll get a kiss and then what? you wont get a relationship or anything out of it. and if he's willing to do that to her, do you really think he wouldn't do it to you if he WAS with you? if they do it once, they'll do it again 99% of the time no matter what they say. dont do it. honestly.

can you use tongue barbells as cartilage earrings?

you can. but its a 14 gauge which is a good bit bigger than a regular earring especially in your cartilage since its thicker. mines gaged to a 14 though with just regular earrings. and i know several people who have used tongue rings in their cartilage.. yeah it looks kinda weird since its a long bar but if you want to do it then theres nothing wrong with it.

this may be a little long but i really need help .

ok so i lived in newnan for nine years with my dad but last year we started fighting alot . i have been back and forth living with him the past year so i have been in and out of newnan high like 5 times in a year. i am 16 and i live with my mom currently in gwinnett county. my mom has custody of me but my dad has joint legal custody of me so he has say on some things. well a couple months ago i tried staying with my aunt but my dad found out and since i wasnt living iwth him or my mom he freaked out so i came back to my moms house. i really want to be in newnan, thats where my life is. but me and my step mom dont get along at all so i really dont want to live with my dad. but if i live with my mom, i have to stay in gwinnett county and i hate it here. i love it at my aunts house. thats where i really want to be. is there any way i can choose to stay with her since im sixteen? i only have like 7 weeks of school left and want to go back to newnan high for the alst bit of my year. so i need to know a quick way to be able to stay with my aunt and go to newnan. my mom owuld let me, but my dad is just an ass and wont let me. but i never have contact with my dad, so i dont get why he wont let me. anyone got any ideas?

ok i am looking for jobs for 14 year olds. i live in florida if that helps because i know that some states have different age laws. anyways i have looked at ebay but i have to have an adult and i am not sure that my stuff will even sell. also what about getting paid for taking online surveys? if you know any good survey sites that pay and they ARENT a scam please notify me. other than that what jobs are out there for a 14 year old that is wiling to work hard???

Can you put any type of lotion/body lotion, on your face? or is it just for the body? My face is really dry from using acne medicine a lot so I want to mosturize it but I get oily skin a lot and right after I wash my face too so I don't want it to get more oily

body lotions are loaded with chemicals and fragrances that will irritate your skin especially if youre already acne prone. ive put body lotion on my face a few times and it helped for a little while but in like 30 minutes was already peeling again. i use Cetaphil moisturizing lotion and i definintely recommend it. you can get it at like walmart or target. i put it on at night before bed and on any dry spots before i put on makeup and my face pretty much stays flake free all day.

i would drop him like a rock honestly. if anything and you do decide to give him a second chance you need to have a SERIOUSSSS talk with him and tell him look if there is ever ANY OTHER SORT or abuse AT ALL then that is IT. no questions. unless he gets serious help hes not going to change. violent outbursts dont just come out of nowhere. yeah it was a year long relationship and it may have been all peachy keen but if he abused you like that and especially that badly then odds are he will do it again no matter what he says. if he gets professional help there may be hope for you two but he cant just say oh im sorry im better now and thats it. that is no way to treat anybody and you know it. id say either drop him now or if youre really determined to help him give him one more chance but tell him hes got to get help. i know you know whats good for you. just think, if one of your friends was in that situation, what would you tell her to do? good luck girl!

How do you start and keep a convo going?

if any of yall play sports, talk about the games... how yall really deserved to win, the refs sucked, you got flagged/fouled unfairly, who yall are playin next etc.

also gossip is always good. whos goin out with who and whether or not they really go together, what happened at the latest party. "omg you know ___ is so hott" is always good.

haha just anything that comes to mind.

to keep a convo going, just state whatever youre thinking about the subject. dont not say something because you think itll be stupid or random or whatever, just add your two cents. and if someone says something that reminds of something funny that happened or somethin, let it out.

I will not say what I believe in for abortion because that may influence your answer..but someone brought this to my attention...
do you consider this an exception for abortion..if an 11 year old girl got pregnant(raped) and her hips couldn't support the baby. Do you believe that when a girl has her period she is ready to give child birth even though her age may not be? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

i also believe that abortion is wrong except in the case of rape, especially an 11 year old who would put her own health at risk for a baby she physically cannot support.

I know that cetting your cartilage pierced with a gun is bad, so I've decided to go to a professional to get it pierced with a needle. also called the "Winter Blues". haha i think i must have it. it affects alot of people in the winter since its cold and gloomy, but basically its where any certain season{s} affects your mood and makes you more glum and 'depressed'. idk how to get rid of it im still working on that haha.

i sweat alot .. like under my arm pits. it gets embarasing. i wear deodarate. but i still sweat. how do i prevent this?

Certain Dri. get it at walmart, eckerd, target, etc. put it on at night along with regular deoderant in the mornings. it works wonders trust me.
