Does anyone know any easy ways to get rid of hard skin around the nail like on the skin? haha, i used to bite the skin and ive stopped now but its like ripped. any ways?

okay well i shave down there and it grows back really fast. like in a week! is that normal or what? is there anything i can do to prevent it? and i also get those little red bumps and sometimes the hair is not always completley gone! any tips please? thank you.
bumps are prolly ingrown hairs, you could always try wax, but i hear that really, really, really hurts. try a cream thing like nair to take it all off, but! find one that's bikini area safe or something like that... otherwise, that could be bad.

ok christmas is coming up, and i wanna get all my christmas shopping done. ok, the thing is im broke. i borrowed 50 dollars from my sis, and i need to buy holiday gifts. what should i get for my parents, mom & dad, 2 sis's ages 10 & 12, and my best friend, she's 15 and i also have like 7 god guy friends, nothing too close, but their goodold buds. any idea what i could get them? thanks, ill give you a 5 for trying. thanks in advance!

you could always try making things. like, for your sisters, but like a yard of really cute fleece and make scarves and matching hats, (really easy, you just cut it for the scarves and for the hat, sew a tube that would fit over their heads, cut it to the right height, and tie the top off, try michaels.com for more details or drop a line to me) you could do that for your best friend and your mom too. for your guy friends, cookies or brownies or something, guys like food!
oOo, and you could also get some cool beads and stuff, or feathers, anything really, and make some awesome earrings for all the girls on your list. you can even make clip ons look cool incase their ears aren't pierced.
for your dad, things are a bit more difficult. find out his favorite hobby and go from there, for example, my dad loves golf and they come out with a cool, inexpensive present relating to that every year.
you could do all that for less than $50.

hon... you can't trust him to be a good boyfriend to you. look at how he's treating this other girl he's dating: he tried to kiss another girl and told you he loved you. i think you're really smart for not wanting to use "love" unless you know that you mean it... but i have to agree with you, he doesn't seem sincere. if he broke up with you because of things that were going on in his life, what's he doing with another girl? shouldn't he have waited until things were better to be with you again? and why's he trying to get you mad by kissing someone else if he loves you?

ok, i got a call from my bf asking if his ex girlfriend had called me. i said no y? and he said that him, his friend, and her got into a fight and that she said she was going to tell me everything. and i said, what do u mean shell tell me everything? and he said i dont know what shes talking about. she wouldnt tell me. n hes like, so if she says somethin to u tonight, just remember that shes insane. so i get home, and theres a message from her. but all it said was happy thanksgiving and a smily. so now, i dont kno whats going on. or what to do. ahhh!! help please.

In order to understand this question you need to know a little background:
This guy lived two rooms down from me on a co-ed, all-feshman dorm floor and I never really talked to him before. But at my school (college) there was a big drinking fest and everyone is out drinking and socializing with people. I was standing in a large group of people outside, talking and drinking, with all the same age, and he comes to me and asks me if I could get him in to the dorm because he 'lost' or forgot his key. So a couple of people I was with, me and the guy, (lets call him P) walked back to the dorm. We hung out in the lobby for awhile and we all talked. The night is kinda hazy for me, but I remember most parts. ANYWAYS, later on, somehow the conversation lead to P staying with me in my room that night. So it happened, he spent the night and everything in my dorm room. Obviously it was hours after we had been drinking. But we did stuff. The next day he talked to me as if nothing happened. Now this school year started and I rarely see him. We both live off campus and when I do see him, we say hi, how are ya and everything but never a complete conversation. I don't want to keep him from class. But after I see him I just wanna grab him and kiss him like that night we spent together.
Now my question is, From all this background info, do you think he actually likes me, or do you think he was trying to get in my pants that night. BUT lately, he says hi, even if I dont see him walk past or something he makes sure I see him. Should I just stop him and make him late to his class and talk to him, see if he wants to get together some time. I dont have a clue at all. I really like the guy but I'm confused on what I should do.. If anyone could help me, that would be awesome!!

well... he was prolly still under some of the effects of alcohol, and while none of us can know for sure, it sounds like he could be interested. if you don't want to make him late to class, slip him a note, with your number, asking if he'd like to go out some time, etc.
might as well go for it. there isn't really too much of a downside. if it works out, that's so awesome, and if it doesn't, you said you don't see him that often, and all that.

This is miSSc and I need some advice about my singing...I can sing, but my vocal range (singing range) is kinda limited and my voice cracks sometimes when I go high. I know most of you will say that I should get voice lessons but...I don't have time for one. I use to take lessons but I had to give up because I started not having time for one. So...got any tips? I want to improve my "chest" voice. The highest note I can hit is a high "C" but I want to go higher with out straining my voice and not cracking either. Please help me!!!!

ok, i know this might sound weird, but you need to forget about how your grades are right now. they'll come up. they just will. just make sure you do all your homework and study just a little each night for every class, and more the night before a test.
and just a word to the wise, the more you freak, the worse you'll feel and it won't reflect well on your school work. destress!

I'm starting to make a collage on my one wall, with like band pics and my concert tickets and all that. I don't have much stuff yet. All I have are my tickets, Taking Back Sunday picture, a Something Corporate picture, and a My Chemical Romance picture. Does anyone know any good magazines to get like full-size pictures of those types of bands? Or anywhere else, like internet addresses? Thanks so much!
go to google.com images search, you can print them out from there if you'd like... it'd look best with some photo paper. if you'd rather not do that, i'd scour the local magazine rack, or maybe a music store, they have posters and stuff in the ones around my area. hope that helps!

Okay, so there's this guy in my school that most of the girls would give their leg to date (not literally of course) He's one of the best skateboarders around, and was even chosen to go to this contest thing across the US... Anyways, he's so cute and he doesn't even know it. From what I've heard he doesn't like having a gf because it gets in the way of skateboarding. A few weeks ago he(Mark) broke up with the girl I have hated since elementary school (she used to pick on me before I lost a lot of weight and discovered make up. lol) This guy that I know from around my neighborhood is dating my best friend n also friends with Mark. He told me that he thought I was 'hot' and that he liked me. Well, he is also really shy. You'd think that because of all of this attention from girls and skating he wouldn't be, but he is. I was hanging out watching them skateboard and he didnt do anything but look over at me a few times. So, before I left I heard him say "No hug?" which was the first time i heard him say anything really. So i gave him a hug and left... When i passed him in school Mark barely said anything other than a "Fine dont say hi to me, i see how it is" so I did and my friends and I walked on to class. When I've passed by him, I saw his eyes on me the whole time we walked by each other and I know he did it on purpose for me to see. I can't help it, I like him so much even though I don't know much about him. Something about being not like the other guys who make those rude comments as you walk by. He's just... So cute! lol. Well, I don't know what to do anymore. I've been talking to him as much as I can, but I don't want to ask if he wants to hang out because I think that's his job and I really want to get to know him better. I also don't believe he likes me because i tend to put myself down a lot and I don't think that he *could* like me. I'm thinking of the worst, like, its all a joke or not true or something, not that he really does like me. Can someone help me with what I could do? Thanks ((I rate if that helps any... if she refuses to do anything, i almost hate to suggest it, but it may be necessary, to tell her parents that you're worried. surely they notice it too.

Well, I have a friend who visits an advice site (the name slips my mind) where most everyone posts idiotic relationship questions riddled with bad spelling, punctuation, and grammer, pretty much in that order. My question is this, how do I tell my friend that he is a moron? And how can I make him stop asking stupid questions? And how can I get him to stop using things like "u" for you, or "r" for are?

tell him he's being an idiot and needs to learn that spelling, punctuation, and grammar are fairly important to the normal person. also... please tell him that other than "I" and "a" letters aren't words, nor should they be treated as such.

I still love him a lot and want to be with him but we've gone out 5 times and i just dont know if this time he means it. i'd give it a little bit of time, to explore the sincerity of everyone's feelings. besides... he's your best friend, and as little as i personally would like to say this, those kinds of relationships don't always work out too well. so take a break from it all... there's got to be reasons you all have broken up five times... maybe it's time to realize that?

My boyfriend and I have been going out for 3 years... and in this 3 years I have always bought the birth control pills and condoms (i know about prescription plans but i couldnt get one until like now) I have always tried to get him to buy or help pay for it but he never does, or always forgets just recently i told him he was going to pay for the next batch of birth control pills i was buying and he got all mad, and said i should pay for it? Is that fair? I think since it is for both of us we both should pay and seeing how i have paid PLENTY of money that he should put in some money? What should I do to help him understand?

Ok....I'm a single girl, 16 yrs old, Junior in high school. And there is a guy in my school, who is a grade ahead of me who had expressed that he likes me and "thinks im hot" and yadda yadda yadda. lol, just bc you've never liked someone before doesn't mean she's the one. it means you finally like someone enough to want to act.
if she's dating your friend, you can't break that up, they may both end up disliking you. i'd wait it out, get to know her better, and once you're sure on her status: single or taken, then you can act on it.

15/f... ive had my hair cut short for two years now! im talking no longer than three inches long all around. Well now I want to grow it out! any suggestions on how to do this QUICK or what to do with it while it's growing out? thanks!

K my hair is a little below shoulder length, when I let it dry naturally, wavy, but uneven-wavy, and very poufy, and extremely frizzy depending on the humidity level. It is also insanely incredibly double-takingly thick. Well that's an exxageration, but it's thick enough that every time I go to the hairdresser they say "Whhooahhh you've got a lot of hair!" lol. But anyways. I straighten it during the year with a hot tools professional flat iron, that works well enough. Actually come humid season it doesn't work very well but w/e. I go to camp each summer, and 2 summers ago I met this guy I REALLY like and he only likes me as a friend but w/e theres plenty of time. Anywayz we planned to go2 the same session last year and are doin that again this year. In the summer, I usually get my hair in lots of little braids or cornrows, because I can't flatiron out in the wilderness, but it doesn't look as flattering as it could. I really like him, and obviously I want to look my best. If you know any solutions for straight or totally unfrizzy hair that you can put in after your hair gets wet and have it work even if yuo just air-dry (this is camp so all i have time 4 is putting some product in then going on 2 do w/e) then please reply. Also, if you know anything about thermal reconditioning let me know. I am not sure as to whether or not it makes your hair dry straight in the future until it grows out, or if you have to blow it dry for it do dry straight. Oh, and I have battled acne the past few years and usually I wear foudation so it doesn't look real bad, I can get boyfriends and stuff, but I'd rather not wear foundation at camp its a bit odd so if you know any products you can get non-prescription at the drugstore that work pretty well let me know also.
for your hair, you can try getting it chemically straightened, it does wonders, but i'm not sure on the cost. as for the acne, there's clearasil, which works wonders, and zapzyt which is great for spot treatment. good luck!
