How do you make something in a picture in color and the rest in black and white? Like selective coloring or something?
If you use adobe photoshop, use the magic wand to select the part you dont want black and white and copy/paste it onto a new layer. Then make another copy of the background. Use the "color" mode on the paintbrush [make sure the colors are black and white on the square thingies] and paint of the copy of the b/g so that it's black and white. That way, the part you dont want black and white will still be showing [on a different layer] and if you wanted it to be all colored again, just delete that black and white layer :)
does anyone know how to change a picture to black and white, and then save it as a picture again?

Adobe Photoshop [i think any version works... i used 2.0 and 7.0.1]! If you have that program you can convert color pictures to black and white :) I learned that a few weeks ago in digiphoto class.
welllll .. i made a HUGE mistake and umm kissed another boy while i was going out with my boyfriend and well he didnt dump me exactly and he always brings it up though =| idn what to do i cant live with this anymore. what should i do ?
You must have hurt your boyfriend a lot if he keeps bringing it up. He's probably scared that you might do something like that again. the best idea is to TALK TO HIM. Talk with him and tell him that you wont do it again or something. Try to gain his his trust again and prove that you won't do something stupid like that again. Trust trust trust. my girlfriend is having a halloween party and i forgot about it and made plans with my friends to go to the movies. should i go to half the party and then to the movies or to all of the party. do you think my girlfriend will be mad if i dont go to the whole party
wow. I think the decision is obvious. but then, maybe it's because it's me. You should go to the party since it IS your girlfriend and it seems like you had agreed to go to the party before you had agreed to going with your friends to the movies. I'd stay at the party, since you seemed to have implied that you knew about the party before you made plans for the movie. Besides, if you ditch half way through the party, you might hurt your girlfriend's feelings.

Do you mean you have black shoes AND pink shoes? Or a pair of black and pink shoes? Either way, I'll try to answer your question.
If you had a choice between black and pink shoes, black would go with brown more, just because they're both subtle and 'bleaker' colors compared to pink. If you have a pair of black and pink shoes... as long as there's more black then pink, I don't think it will be an issue. I don't think your appearance will be that big of a deal either, if I were someone's mom about to meet their boyfriend/girlfriend, personality would be more important than appearance. As long as your outfit is nice, I don't think your shoes will be that important :)

Well, you can always ask him what he would like... unless you want it to be a surprise. Then keep your ears open and also see what he likes. I can't really give you any suggestions since I don't know your boyfriend's taste, but you should see if he wants anything [through hints or random conversations]. Once you find out, you can figure out teh price by going to stores or going online and then start saving up. Home-made things aren't that bad of an idea either. It shows that you actually take the time to show that you love him.
Okay I am 18/f and I have a wonderful boyfriend. He's 22 and he lives about 1 hour from me because he moved that far to work. He comes to visit me every weekend and calls me every night. We have alot of fun and talk about everything. We have been dating on anf off for 3 years now and are planning on getting married in about 1 1/2. Recently at my work I noticed this guy flirting with me alot, and well I do the same. I saw it as harmless, I would joke with him and stuff and he would back. He had a girlfriend at the time too, but just the other day he walked over to me and pushed me against the wall and said 'watsup babe' and laughed. I found it funny at first but a little odd, then I found out he broken things off with his girlfriend partly because of me. He also slipped me his phone number in my work folder and the other day I saw him he asked me to come to his apartment. I really find him attractive(he looks like the lead singer from my chemical romance) and really like him, I only want to be friends with him because I love my boyfriend so much and wouldnt ever cheat. But when Im around the guy at work Im much more open and talkative then I am with my actual boyfriend. Im just asking if its wrong to be friends with a guy that likes me in a way that my boyfriend wouldnt find appealing?
Did you re-read what you just said? 'to be friends in a way that your boyfriend won't find appealing'. If you know that your boyfriend probably wont be happy about this, you shouldn't do it. Just because you're more open and more talkative doesn't mean that you have a closer bond or anything similar to what you have with your boyfriend. It could be that you just see him as a person who you can talk to easily, like a really close friend. not a boyfriend. I would suggest that you don't be friends with the guy from work in a way that your boyfriend wont like. You can be like, close friends with him, but nothing else. I think if you really love your boyfriend like you say, think before you act. If you can really like another guy, you should re-think of whether or not you want to be with your boyfriend. You can only have one guy. Seeing that you guys have been going off and on for 3 years, I'd think that your boyfriend would be more important and you'll consider him before you do anything you'll regret. So, basically, if you think your boyfriend won't like how your friendship with the other guy is, then you shouldn't do it.
I had this "so called friend" today. I was drinking my soda and she purposelly hit the bottle so it spilled. Everywhere. And she laughed. LAUGHED! wow. someone has a twisted mind. I don't think you just go and talk to her. If she asks why you're so moody, you should tell that you're upset about what she did, purposefully spilling the drink on you, and if she tries to defend herself, tell her you didnt think it was funny or that if you had done it to her, what would have she done? If she replies that she wouldn't care or laugh it off, you should either think she's lying because who wouldnt care? or just dump a soda on her to see if that's how she'd really react. Either way, I don't think things will work out very well unless she's the first one to apologize.

Aside from that, you'll have to work hard to earn their trust. It's easier to lose trust than to gain it. You just have to be on your best behavior and prove to your friends that you have changed. It might take a while, but your friends might start to see that you've changed and start trusting you again. But now you know, don't steal your friends' stuff.

It sounds like he's the one who is lying rather than your blood sister. I don't think you should 'blush' you know what with him. You should end things if it turns out that the rumors are true. It might be 'heartbreaking' but it's probably for the best.
i seem to be targetted by vandals at my home
whilst on holiday vandals climbed over an 8' gate and broke a window in my vehicle - police didn't bother to come out!
I have had missiles thrown down the drive hitting my rear door and garage
Banana skins dropped at the top of the drive
and an 8' cane thrown at the drive gates
this has been going on for some months now - I have never seen anyone to be able to identify them
not sure how to react - do i just ignore it and hope they get bored?
I am on my own and getting very restless about this I can't understand why i am being targetted

Don't ignore it!! They'll probably take it as a sign that you don't really care and just keep on vandalizing your home. You might want to invest in, rather than a gun, a security system... maybe on with security cameras? But that might be going a little way overboard. If the police don't come, go to them. Tell them that it is serious and they should do something about it. If they dont, take the matters into your own hands... and maybe think about investing in one or more guard dogs? I've never been vandalized so I don't know that much, but I hope you can beat them down! :)

Find new friends. My brilliant answer. If your old friends hate you and talk badly about you, dump them. Who needs those kind of friends? Join a new group of people who will talk to you and be your friend and wont ruin your relationships. That's the best advice i could give... get rid of your old 'friends' and find real ones.

Just wondering, he cared so much for you... why did you guys break up? Who broke up with who anyway? It's hard to tell if he still cares for you, I think you should wait a bit and see first. He might be sincere or he might not. If he was literally crying, then he might be though and though it sounds like he might be jealous when you talk about other guys, if he still cared for you, why would have he broke up or let you break up with him in the first place? I think you should give it a bit more time and see if he sincerely cares.
16 m: okay so last year I had a good thing going with this girl.she was amazing and I seriously had it bad for her.we used to hold hands through the school and she was always scooting her desk next to mine in history class and we would always just talk and it was as if nothing else mattered.so one day i asked her out and she said that she wanted to be single for a while to get over her ex.I completly understood and so I gave her what she wanted. You might have wasted your summer waiting for her, but that doesn't mean you don't have any time left. So it was one summer, but there are still many more summers [well about three for high school]. Plus, there's the school year, too. You lost a summer, but at least you won't be wasting your school year. Forget the girl and get out there! alright well my friend asked me out and he likes me. and i like him, just not as much as he likes me. i like him, but not really enough to go out with him. but silly me i said yes to him because i didn't wanna hurt him. but i know that i'm probably hurting him worse just by going out with him. like he tells me he loves me and i know i don't feel that way back towards him but i still say it...is this really bad? because i don't really know what to tell him...
I think this is bad o___o You should tell him the truth. It might hurt him, but it'd be better than telling him that after going out with him... that would probably hurt a lot more. Tell him you still want to be friends, but only friends. If he's hurt over that, well, it's a lot better than hurting him a lot more by 'leading him on'. I hope you can clear things up with your friend :)
13/f. I'm so depressed. I feel like everything is declining. All I can do is remember "the good ol' days." My best friend just broke up with me that I had since kindergarten. Now at school, I'm completely friendless since she moved to Chile.
My choir used to be so great, but now, everyone has lost commitment, and all the best pieces have been "pulled." The younger choirs are now much more recognized, since the older choirs won't practice. This is a very prestigious choir...we performed at St. Peter's Basilica, and Carnegie Hall! But now, it has gone to dust. :( My mother is not the way she used to be, ever since she was framed at work. She has major depression. she's not fun anymore. Even the United States isn't in good shape right now, with troops in Iraq and forests being sliced apart for firewood and mountains tabletopped for coal. All I do is just remember what life was like a couple years ago, when everything was at its peak, and I just feel terrible. Can someone help me? Sorry that this is so long, but I'm lonely and need someone to talk to.
