I will be starting college at UTC in august.
i just filled out a recruitment application for CHI OMEGA and was wondering if anyone has any experience with that sorority.
I want to know if i'm wasting my time or if i should find another sorority??

Theres this guy who has told me he really likes me, we flirt alot but he doesnt know the feelings I have for him! I really really really like him but he smokes and thats whats putting me off going into a relationship with him! He knows how i feel about smoking and he told me he had stopped just for me! But then one of my friends told me he had tried to stop but couldnt and he was still telling me he had stopped! Do I just ignore his smoking habbit and focus on the feelings I have for him?
It is a nasty habit, but it's also a hard habit to break. Even if he says he will quit for you, it will take time. He can't just quit cold turkey. The most you should do is just request he doesn't smoke around you. If you really like him then yes, you should just focus on the feelings. He obviously likes you enough to attempt to quit!

u have a chihuahua/terrier mix and every night when im at my computer she jumps on my lap and starts panting and shaking like crazy and then after i get up and go to bed she still sits on my bed and pants and shakes this happens every single night.. what do i do? whats wrong with her?
It could be adrenaline. She was probably excited, and the left over shaking could be extra nerves. She's fine, my dog does the same thing too after she runs around.

Hello. I am 21 and male.
I met someone online, and we have been pretty good friends for a while now. We do not want to date or anything, because both of us are married... just friends. I just want to get that out there...
Recently, I have made a series of stupid mistakes and hurt her feelings pretty badly. I suffer from Bipolar Disorder, and am currently seeking help for it. I want her to forgive me for the things I have done, but I'm not sure how. I told her about the disorder before the fight.
I have tried apologizing to her, but I'm not sure if she forgives me or not. She will not talk to me, and only minimal responses are given when I initiate conversations with her.
I really enjoyed being friends with her. She was a good listener, a good source of advice, and really fun to be around. I feel terrible about how I treated her, and I want to make it up.
Is there any way I can mend this friendship, or should I just forget about it and move on?
She might just need to blow off her steam. You could give her a little room so she can cool down, and when things seem calm you can try apologizing. You still have some response so it's not like she completely doesn't want to talk to you. Good luck.

I was at a party last night....
There was this kid there that I didnt actually talk to but I was talking to his friend. The reason I didnt talk to him because I guess I was shy or whatever, I dont know but man I dont know If I should add him on myspace or not. Because the thing is, I havent ever spoken to him before... and maybe he'll think like "who is this girl?" but then again... what's the wrong thing that could happen, right? I keep trying to tell myself that but I can't seem to get the courage to do so. He goes to my school and he's older and stuff, and I definately don't talk to him there because one, I barely see him and two, Im shy :/

Yeah, she did just lose a HUGE thing with Nickalodean and respect of many viewers, but even more than that, she has to worry about bringing a life into this world. me and this guy were going out for about a two years. we broke up in march of 07. ive been talking to him lately through texting and aim. everytime i talk to him i get the same feeling i used to when we were going out and he makes me feel alive. i know that sounds corny, but its amazing how much of a little girl i become around him. i can say stupid things no one else would get and we can practically predict what one other is gonna say. i honestly dont think me and him are done. i know one day we will get back together, and hopefully soon. theres a dance comming up at my school in febuary and I'm thinking about asking him. I dont hangout with him alot. more like i never hangout with him, and when i do it's pretty awkward. neither of us know what to say to eachother in person and i obvouisly want that to change. I think asking him to the dance would give us a chance to become not awkward around eachother and maybe give us another chance. Should i go for it or play it safe? any other suggestions? thankss! [:
He still shows interest, so I say go for it. He's probably waiting for you to make the first move, and when you do things will probably not be awkward. And plus, dances are fun most of the time. So why not?

No, it's not wrong.
UNLESS you make a move or anything. You should talk to your bestfriend and make things clear that you two are just friends to avoid conflict. Other than that, you're fine.

Hey guys! I'm going to Universal soon, and I know on some rides, if you have a bag, you have to put it in a locker. I want to TOTALLY avoid that. ALL I'm bringing to Universal is a small, very slim camera. I plan on just holding it, or putting it in my pocket. Do you think I would still have to get a locker? (If all I had was a camera, no bag or anything else) ALSO, how can I know when the characters that walk around universal are out? I really want to get a picture with the Marilyn Monroe one! THANKS!!
Haha, My mom's friend is a manager down there. No, you don't have to put your camera in a locker. By bags, they mean large bags. You can bring your camera on any ride as long as you can hold onto it. Have Fun!

coOokie is right. But although she said to hang out with guy friends, I would recomend spending more time with your girlfriends. Seeing as you were together for almost a year, I imangine you didn't really spend much time with them. I say this in defense of my bestfriend, who also this past summer had a breakup of a year. Loud music and bestfriends and a couple hundred laughs, and you will be good to go; believe it or not you can get through this :)

I used to like this guy. But he came off as to jerky for me. But now i am curious if he liked me back.
He points out stupid imperfections about me like my forehead is big.
He tripped me.(idk if it was "playful" or not)
He throws things at me.(pencils,erasers ect.)

It does sound like he likes you, possibly alot. The whole name call, throwing things, tripping, following, etc. is just guys wierd way of flirting. Especially if he has his hand on your leg, it's a sure sign :)

Last night, I put my tampon in around 10 pm and this morning I was planning on putting a new one on and I completely forgot until about say 2pm. I'm really worried that I may have gotten toxic shock syndrome from this. I know I shouldn't have left it in that long, but I was in a hurry and it slipped my mind :( Is there anyway to tell if I have it because my parents are going to be two hours away tomorrow and I'm scared I'll show symptoms while they're gone?
You'll be fine- as long as this doesn't become a habit. TSS occurs for longer periods of time, and more often. Trust me, I knew a girl who got it, and she definately had to work to get that, but she was gross anyways. You're good to go :)

so i'm going to cheer camp this coming Monday, aaaand i'm a Freshman, so I've never been.
i was wondering what went down at cheer camp, and if it's fun and whatnot.
i'm friends with pretty much everyone on the squad that's going to camp
It will be fun! You'll be with your friends while making new ones! You'll learn new cheers, chants, routines, etc. & then show them off- you'll love it & get hyped up for this season :) & being a freshman- you'll meet some upperclassmen on your squad who could up being friends with.:)

well me and my boyfriend have been to dying to have sex for a while, but we don't know when we should. and i'm afraid to get pregnant and he's afraid of getting me that way.
we have protection, but does it really help? would we have nothing to worry about if we did use it?
and without protection, when would be the absolute best time to have sex without getting me pregnant?

If I were you, I would use protection. It helps, but there's always that chance of it breaking. The worst times to have sex without protection, is 3 days before and 3 days after your period, because of ovualation. It's your choice, so I hope I helped. :)
