If you're under 18, then def. call your relatives. If you're over 18, go for the hostel.

Hey, I was going to have a sleepover party for my friends on Halloween after we go trick-or-treating with each other. My one friend that I invited is allergic to dogs, cats, and guinea pigs -- which are all of the pets I have. She can't even go in my house because of it. I was considering sleeping out in a tent in the backyard, because it's really big, but it might be too cold by October 31st for that. I don't want to just uninvite her because that might screw up our friendship and that's pretty rude. :\ What should I do? (link)

Depending on where you live, the tent could be too cold, but if it's not too cold, the tent would be a great idea. That's what I do with my friend who has allergies.
I guess you could prolly make the tent fairly warm, get really warm sleeping bags and make everyone hot cocoa.

hey i am like a punk kid. and i really dont like preps very much. but my mom is like anti-punk and loves preps. and she is really into the "preppy" clothes and attitude and all that good stuff. lol. ok well thats NOT me but how do i tell her without her freaking out. i mean i want to get my tongue pierced and my ears pierced a lot. but my mom is just not understanding for my personality. people tell me "Be yourself who cares what others think" but how can you be yourself when your mother is making you another. how do i try to show my mom that i am not like her? Okay, back now. And answering your question, even if you insist on labeling everything.
Do it slowly. Next time you're shopping with her and she holds up a pink fluffy skirt and says it's adorable, just say, "Mom, that skirt really doesn't go with my style. It's not me at all."
I don't know what other stuff she'd do that goes against the punk code or whatever, but just something along those lines. Just sort of tell her that whatever she wants you do isn't something YOU want to do. Then quote her "be yourself" mantra back at her.

Well im 16 and lately I have been feeling really lethargic and sad. I have cried pretty much every single day or I have been in a bad mood and didnt want to do anything. I can never fall asleep at night and when I wake up in the morning I am still tired and want to go back to bed. I took some tests online and one of them said that "The likelihood that you have major or clinical depression is high." and I took a few more and they pretty much said it was high. But I cant tell my mom or step dad about it because they will tell me im fine like they always do. They will say im just overreacting and its not a big deal. But I have been feeling like this for the past year or so, not constantly but it just gets bad sometimes. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? (link)

I think the tests are right and you do have clinical depression. If it's been going on for a year, then it's time you get some help.
Your parents should listen to you. I had the same problem with mine.
Talk to friends. If there's a school counselor at school and you feel comfortable talking to them, then do.
Get a journal. You can keep one online, on paper, on tape, or just as a file in your computer.

OOC = Out Of Character, usually, but the way you're using it sounds a bit different. I usually hear it in fanfiction, where Out Of Character almost always what it means.

Pills would work, like everyone else said.
Cutting your wrists would also work. After the first few seconds when you're actually cutting your wrists, it doesn't hurt at all and dying is like drifting off to sleep.
After a certain stage of drowning, you start to feel "euphoric" or so I've heard.

I have the same problem about being nervous around new people, so I know the problem.
If you're going into high school or middle school, you won't be the only new person there. Everyone will want to make friends, and all you have to do is smile, be yourself, and you'll have a great time.
Talk to someone who sits near you at the beginning and end of class. This way, you'll know some people and then you can be more confident.
Just be friendly. If someone talks to you, talk to them. If you feel too shy to initiate a conversation, take a deep breath and ask the person what their name is.

i cant sleep EVER! i've had trouble sleeping all my life. I'll go thru times when i can fall asleep within 1.5-2 hours which is great but anlot of the time it takes atleast 3-4 hours to fall asleep. For the past few nights its been even worse. i couldnt fall asleep untill 7.00 am :(
its a nightmare! what should i do

can't recommend any particular sleeping pills. I have one kind I used to take, but don't know the name. sorry.
On top of that, really try to relax. Start with your feet and relax them very carefully until they're completely relaxed and move up.
In the beginning of 9th grade, they brought in this lady who knew all about stress and she coached us through finding our "peaceful place" which might sound incredibly dorky but is actually quite relaxing. Lie down and breath slowly, and think of a place, real or imagined, that makes you feel very peaceful.

At my 12th birthday party, we all dared each other to moon the cars that passed by in the street. That was fun . . . we accidentally mooned some policement by mistake. O_O

My boyfriends parents just said he could have the basement as a room to hang out in. He gets minor water leakage in one corner. We are going to move all the storage into the garage. the walls are already painted and in good condition. We are just going to use this room as a hang out. Any ideas or themes? Don't forget its all cement and has cement poles in there. Only 2 windows too.

Posters are always good. Buy some posters for his fave bands and movies and put them on the wall.
Get some cool chairs, like bean bag chairs or inflateable ones. Something cheap that looks a little different from normal.

Just out of curiousity, why do you want to vote for Kerry? I'm not trying to make this an argument, I'm not like alot of those idiots who want to curse you out for what you believe in. But I read your reasons, and it appears you got alot of those beleifs of yours from the "documentary" Farenhiet 9/11. Michael Moore's film protrays Bush to be an idiot, which isn't the case at all. I know that Fahrenheit 9/11 does make some stretches, but also some good points on the Bush administration. The Patriot act, for example. The fifty-six deceits site does give the film that, among a few other things. Even many of the democrats who saw the film went in knowing that Moore would make some stretches. It's been argued that it's impossible to make un unbiased political documentary. So while Moore is biased, he makes plenty of good points. I read quite a few good articles on the film right after it came out.
Fifty-six deceits has many good points, particularly about the election. Still, George Bush did NOT win the popular vote, and the electoral vote has problems if the electoral winner can have a miniority of the votes. That and the "butterfly ballots" made the election unfair.
Even before I saw Fahrenheit 9/11, I was a democrat. So while I took some ideas from the movie, most of my arguments are based on what I have read in news.
I also dislike George Bush for giving tax cuts to those who don't need it (SUV owners and the very rich) and I don't like him for being against gay marriage and abortion. He seems to try to abolish separation of Church and State, and that bothers me.
On Iraq, I just don't think he should have gone in. US soldiers have died. A lot of them, many of them poor kids who wanted money to go to college, which was the point Moore was trying to make with Lila Lipscomb. I know people who have done that.
So my point is, I'm in the Anybody But Bush political party. I want someone for president who will disentangle us from Iraq and not run off and start another war instantly. Kerry has proved that he can be a good diplomat in his handling of the MIA problems in Vietnam. It helps that he's pro-gay marriage and pro-choice.

Level 1 is automatic. You just need an average rating of 4.0 or higher.
Level 2 is not automatic, and there are only so many slots open at any one time.
There is only one Level 3, who is the creator of this site, as far as I know.

im 13 years old and i REALLY want a job. ive always wanted a part time job at a nursery home w/ the elderly to pay for college(even though its a long way off) but i think i have to be 14. I also would like a part time job at a camera store, but i dont think they even hire 14 year olds! can any1 give me suggestions for jobs or if they know if nursery hames would let 13 year olds work there???

I know a lot of people who do a summer program through the city council. They get paid to go work at various charity organizations. I don't know if you have something like that where you live, but it's worth investigating.
Go up to the nursery home and ask how old you have to be. If you really want the job, you can prolly lie without ever having them find out.

bake sale are fuuuuuuuun. have members of the soccer team bring food, and put signs up at your school asking for people to bring in baked goods for you to sell.
food is the secret because everyone loves food.
also, have some games. organize something during lunch. one of those things where you have to toss a ball into a cup is always fun and addictive because everyone always wants to try and no one can ever do it. Give away candy. Or goldfish.

No way. You can make them APPEAR larger with padded bras and the like (I've even heard of an exercise that makes them stick out a bit more) but there's nothing more that you can do, short of implants.
Medicines don't work.
Us small breasted people should consider ourselves lucky, anyway. No uncomfortable bouncing everytime we want to move quickly. ^^

-if he really liked it, would he listen to his sisters? if his parents stopped him from seeing you, he might have an excuse, but still, that's pretty bad.
-Pregnant after a month. That's going a bit fast, depending on how old you are.
-He dumped you because he thought you were pregnant? Shouldn't he be taking SOME responsibility here. Someone needs to sit him down and explain that it takes two people to make a baby.
You sound like you really like this guy, but he's not worth it.
