I know there are a lot of questions asked about moderators.. sry if its getting annoying .. but how does you level increase, does it cost time, experience, question answering...

Level 1 is automatic. You just need an average rating of 4.0 or higher.
Level 2 is not automatic, and there are only so many slots open at any one time.
There is only one Level 3, who is the creator of this site, as far as I know.

yes, this is all found in the help files for the site, if you'd go look...
that said, as GC commented - becoming a level 1 is automatic based on comments and time.
Becoming a Level 2 is not exactly automatic, and there are only so many L2 slots available at any given moment.
There is only one L3 mod, which is the site admin.

To become a level mod one, I'm pretty sure it's an automatic thing. You have to have an average rating of above 4, have been here for 2 months, and have never been suspended. For level 2 mods, it's not automatic. You have to have been here for a long time, have answered a lot of questions, and give good answers. Right now all the spaces for level 2 mods are filled. Check the moderator FAQ in case I forgot something.
