Is it possible to change certain characteristics that you don't like about yourself? Recently there have been things that I've done that I normally wouldn't do that have made me and my bf get into fights. They're little fights, and we always end up resolving them, but in the end I feel like a complete idiot for making such a big deal out of certain things. i think the only thing is just when you feel yourself getting to that point wher you get mad jsut step back and breather for a sec. im gunna sound like a total loon but juts count to ten or tell him you need a sec and leave the room. sounds stupid but it really works. just amke sure you'r changing because you dont liek the way you are not because youre boyfriend doesn't, because very rarely is a boy worth changing yourself for.

for a quick fix there always are extensions which if done properly look pretty nice and then theres always that horse hair pill thing that jennifer aniston did when she cut her hair and hated it and i guess it grew out pretty fast.
p.s. my sister says taht it works if you talk to it and tell it to grow. seeing as she is a bit naff and such so i dont know that i would go too far with her advice though.

Well, there's this guy that I like a lot and I talk to him all the time, I have a class with him and my friends that have other classes with him say they forget he's in there because he never talks, but in my class, I talk to him all the time. Kind of like he isn't shy around me and that's awesome. Well, I asked him to this christmas dance because the girls had to ask the guys and he said he didn't know. Well, I asked him on Friday and now it's Tuesday and he hasn't answered me back. It's really weird though because whenever I see him in the hallways, we look over at eachother and sometimes we talk in the hallways and in class he usually will start a conversation with me, just random conversations. I'm not sure what's going on. I mean I know he's shy and all, but I really want to know what he thinks of me. My friend is gonna ask him 6th period if he's gonna go to the dance with me or not, but I'm so confused with his signs, I don't know if they are signs or just friendlyness. The only thing is, in all the other classes he has, he never ever talks and then he gets in my class and whenever we have free time to talk, me and him are talking. Please help! (link)

if what you're saying is true about him not talking in otehr classes he may just be shy. chances are he really likes you but doesnt wnat to go to the dance in fear of making a fool of himself because he doesnt know how to dance and whatnot. just talk to him about it and tell him how you feel. and if he dosent go to the dance u should go anyways. get your self a hott little dress and go with friends you're garunteed to have a fab time and who knows...i'll bet there are some cute guys who ended up going stag to the dance too.

There is this guy that ive likes for awhile now and he is a junior and i am a fresman.(highschool) He is one of the sweetest guys i have ever met and we get along really well. He called me and asked me if i wanted to go to the movies with him the on the weekend and i said yes. then i saw him two days after that and he said he really liked me but he just wanted to be friends because he thought about it and the fact that im two years younger then him scares him because he doesnt think i want a relationship. Its been a week since all of that has happened and now he doesnt hug me when he sees me and he doesnt go out of his way to talk to me. i still REALLY like him and i want to tell him id be ready for a relationship but i dont want to seem desprite and i dont want to bug him about it. should i just try to forget about him or what?

i think what you need to do is sit down and talk to him about what he thinks a real relationship is, and if it is somthing you're ready for then tell hhim that. if his idea of a real relationship however involves sex and other things you may not be ready for then just forget about it because i can garuntee you there will be other guys who you will like just as much if not more who will be better for you if thast the case.

sometimes, my armpits sweat for no apparent reason. I dont even have to run around..and they start to sweat...it leaves these horrible sweat marks underneath my armpits and i dont even want to raise my aroms up...does any one have any ideas on how to stop this??? i dont know how to stop it except fro getting a better antiperspirant like adidas for athletes which you can get at your local drugstore. as for preventing stains from showing wear thicker fabrics, darker colors, or spray an aerosol style hairspray on the inside of the shirt it creates a thin layer that repells water and most importantly sweat.

hi im elle. im 13. Heres where i need advice...my mom doesnt know how to control my brothers. at all. so they are insane. all the time. she constantly blames it on me. "well its because youre not the perfect sister!" im a good student. im know im not perfect. but she could at least treat me with more respect. she grounds me all the time. and my brothers run wild. they are constantly fighting and everytime she hears them fight she goes "elle what did you do?" wtf? thats not right. and my dad has the worst temper ever and always fights with her. we're poor and i can never do anything. they dont trust me. its like i dont even exist to them. and they do some really bad stuff. i mean like drugs. i just want to know what i should do. i have a hard time talking to them just because everytime they ever talk to me in private its bad news. always. so what should i do to make my life better?

oh man. i honestly cannot believe she says that its because your a bad sister. thast horrible! i think you and your brotehrs need to join some sort of after school program...they can learn discipline and you can get away from them and your parents. as far as talking to them i suggest doing somthing with them one on one somthing that they like that you will be able to bond over. as far as teh control thing lay down the law with your brothers as hard as it may be to get them under control.once you get them to listen to you through bribery or punishment liek taking away thier favorite toys whichever it takes that way at least someone willave some control and your arents wont stress as much. about the drugs...try and get your parents to see a counselor or at least tell someone..the sooner they can get into rehab trhe sooner things can turn aroudn and get better for you and your family.

you cant truly love both of them because that by defenition is not love. you must as lame as this sounds sit down adn really thik about the things taht you really like about each of them and then decide which one you truly love and which one would make a better friend. sure it might hurt him a little yet, if the one you dont pick truly cares about you he'll understand and want only for you to be happy.
