I play softball all the time. ive been told i play too much. since its winter now i go inside so i can still play. anyway
a couple of weeks ago my knee was acting up so my parents took me to the doctor to see if anything was wrong. my doctor (who happens to be the most paranoid person i know) told us to go the hospital. when we got there they did tons of work on my knee and i got an MRI. 4 hours after we got there we found out i had torn my ACL. we've obviously seen more then one doctor about it and two out of the three said that i probably wont be able to play again. they told me that i could swim. i mean swimming isnt bad .... but i love softball ..... any suggestions about dealing with this loss...or any other sports i can do in place of my quote on quote "softball addiction" ?

I totally understand!
I used to do martial art, but when I broke my knee cap and crushed (not emphasizing at all) my left leg, I had a doctor's stop saying I can't do it anymore. But my body still wanted that thrilling excitement, plus if I didn't exercise, I wouldn't get that fit body, you know? So what I did, was instead of doing hard-core karate, I switched it to tai-chi and yoga.
My suggestion for you, is that I know it's not exactly softball, but what about tai-chi or yoga? I know it's not the same at all, but it doesn't hurt to try. And I know it sounds stupid, believe me, I thought so to when I started, but it's actually kindda hard, but also keeps my body in shape.
Just an advice you know. :) I hope you get better dear.

okay, well there is this boy josh that told me he liked me well idk what to do, because he first went out with my sister but they are long gone done with each other, and like i started hanging out with him at the skating rink and he has been an absolute sweetheart. He already told me he loved me and when we were skating i didnt have the hang of it and he helped me he actually held my hand and everything, And a couple days ago we went again and he sat by me the whole time until i would get upp.
So a little after time passed he asked me for a kiss and i liked him so much i couldnt resist so i did and it met so much.
I just dont know what to do.

I don't quite exactly understand your question, BUT I understand the situation.
I think you should sit him down, talk to him about it, then sit your sister down and talk to her about it. It must be separate, or else there's always "but he said" "but she said" arguments, and it's just going to be a lot longer than it should.
If he asked for a kiss, well then, he's a gentleman, isn't he?

ok so i know you gyes hate these qustions but i cant answer it on my own. ok so i still like my x but he has a girl friend.shes really mean and dose not want us to be friends.so today she went home sick and my x DID NOT seem to care. Okay, so here is a fact from me to you: Seniors hate Freshmens. At least it goes same at my school. Seniors despise Freshmens. So how to break that wall? you can do the following:
1) Act like a sophomore or a junior
2) Beat one up
3) Be very popular and pretty.
Me? I was in orchestra. Being in clubs is the great way to get to meet people with the same interests as you, and they don't usually care about grades. It's really fun being in a club. You should be in a club.

heh, really? Four walls eh? Oh man, I'm cold hearted as usual. Okay, so first off, do the coolest thing, and make swirls and swirls. That way, if you ever get.... insane, you won't know, cause your room would look swirly anyway. Or another cool things are stripes. Pick two of the colors, and keep making like different width size stripes horizontally in your room. Then with the other color left, make different sized circles. It's not weird; it's creative.

OOoooooh, I had a similar thing before. I understand you. First, if you have a cold, don't talk. What ever you do, don't talk. Write in a small notebook if you desperately have to say something important. I did this, but then again, I wronte a whole page about something useless. Anywho, drink water, don't use your throat too much to speak. Whispering is the worst, don't do it, cause you use more muscles for it. also, keep your throat warm, and I know it's summer, but don't get any cold-ness. Like... don't go so close to an air-conditioning thing.

First thing I did when I read this, was laugh my f*cking ass off. First off, you're NOT having sex. Second, yes, it's a sin. No, I'm not catholic, but friends told me it is.

Irony: What's the biggest thing that made me laugh REALLY hard when I read this the FIRST time, was at the first sentence "im a very good catholic." Yea, normally, a religious person is suppose to have virtue, no sin, morality, truth, and all those wonderful stuff. If you think you're so highly of yourself to say that you're "a very good catholic" then be modest as well. Wasn't modesty part of catholicism? .... um....yea, hi. I can't answer the second question, because it really is a question to ask yourself. But I can help you in your first question (smiles). Um, the first one... Basically what's important here, is to do a lot of things to show him you like him still (if you do). But don't over do it, to the point you'd scare him away. That's something you wouldn't want to do. However, don't neglect it. It's really hard to explain. Like remeber his birthday and whatnot, and give him a gift, but don't give him something out-of-range like something expensive. But then again, something as good as what you'd give to your best friend. So yea, That's my advice to you. Hope I helped!!!

i got my period for the first time about 1 year, and 8 months ago. I haven't had it very many times since. i get it like every 2 or 3 months? i heard that body weight has something to do with it and some sites tell me that im "emaciated" and stuff like that, but i eat, have a fast matabolism, and im active. do you think this is why my period is irregular? ps im like 5'6 and 105, i think. thankss (link)

Well to be honest... I really don't know. Except I heard from a friend about a book, sold in any ol' book store about just... lists and lists of religions, and a brief descriptions of each of them. I'm sure they're in your local library or something. Just... you know, a book store would probably have more of the recent ones in it as well. Hope I helped!

I was having a semi-asthma attack on the phone with my boyfriend, and if you've ever had an asthma attack you aren't able to talk without hurting yourself. My boyfriend was asking over and over if I could breathe, well obviously not? I wouldn't answer because it hurt for me to talk and I finally answered with "No!" don't bother reading if you can't manage, but 5's to any singly word of response because i really really need some advice here...
i have this twin sister- we're both 14- and she is really immature and selfish and just a totally disgusting and impossible person. sometimes i love her, but alot of times i could just explode! she is just so hard to take!
the main problems with her are that she is really into herself but at the same time extremely insecure and self-consious...and the second is that she just can NOT get over things...like tonight she was trying to get me to remember something by repeating like the same vague amature description over and over and I was like, OK I DON'T REMEMBER CAN WE DROP IT OR CAN YOU GIVE ME A BETTER CLUE?!?!
See its little stuff like that, but I just want to rip my brains our and throw them at her face!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE sharing things with her when I just don't really like her as a person...and she really harms me as a person, because I spend so much energy being infuriated at her or trying to ignore her pesty existence.
I really feel like we are the only people in this world that each other has, so we need to get along...but I just cannot tolerate her at ALL! Its like her brain is so many pages behind, and I can't stretch to reach her and make her stupid accomodations.
Is there any way I can coexist with her as a step towards actually liking her? There are some people in this world that I just cannot ever like, and that's okay, but I really don't want her to be one of them...and how can I vent my feelings in a healthy way? lol i've been sitting in my room screaming (literally) for the past 20 minutes...ew and I wouldn't do anything to hurt anyone so don't go there....

First off, you must talk with your sister, in peace. Or talk to your parents about it. Have you ever tried that? I mean, my sister and I are complete opposites as well; mentally and physically. The only thing we have in common is our psychological part, which isn't very much.
All sisters have problems, whether you like it or not. I know, and you know, that we both have to love our sisters, whether we like it or not, since that's the Law. No, I kid. But we do love them. There is no way on earth, that someone must truely, purely hate their family members. It's just so hard. The biggest thing you can do for now is just talk it out. But it's just a phase that we sisters all go through, once in a while. I'm sure you've felt similar way at her, when you were small. You just have to understand that she's your sister, and you love her, right? She loves you back, and who knows? Maybe she feels the same way about you, as you do to her? You guys MUST talk this thing out. Whether you need your paresnts or someone to be controling it. Talking it out is the only solution. Violence is the solution to stupid problems, and Suicide is the premanent solution, to a temporary problem. It's a fact...

I understand those kind of situations... Okay, so for your answer, this is what I'd do...(If I were you) and here's a step-by-step instructions. Yaaaaay!!!!
1) MAKE FLIERS: Use good ol' technology, to make some fancy flier, that advertise your baby-sitting skills. Use proper grammar, and make it look professional. Do not use the following colors: pink, any shade of green, purple, and black (except for the letters, of course). This would make it look better.
2) GIVE OUT FLIERS: Don't give it to random people though. Give it to your neighbors, whom you know, needs a baby-sitter, and then few other houses, who has kids. This will be basically free advertisement.
3) WAIT: Yea, a common thing teens now a days can not do. Wait, patiently. Don't press your advertisement too much, cause then it's not really that great. Just wait for a call and whatnot.
