Be your self around him. Flirt with him without making it to obvious.
If non of them work flirt with him and if he flirts back play hard to get ;) but not all guys like girls who play hard to get.
If he still doesn't like you there's nothing you can do.

There's your problem, you're desperate. People can sense desperation and it's a turn off, at least for me anyway. To attract his attention start out with simple stuffs like "Hey, what's up? Tell funny stories and jokes." Be playful with a little bit of tease, but not too much or else you'll seem like a ..well you know.

First, don't scare him away. That's the worst you can do. Okay, seriously, you can just start talking to him. Not a deep conversation, but like a simple "Hi" "hey" or "what's up?" type thing. Just, don't get so far into it.
