Advicenators discussion: Summer! Part One

So even though I'm the only one not on Summer vacation, let's see how many of these we get through before the end of August ;]
What are your major summer plans this year?

My major plans:
- complete my "things to do this summer" list, which I'm still adding things to...
BUT I got to cross the first thing off it last night =D
- pass driver's ed. lame, but I'm seriously worried I won't =O
and I guess just have an all around great summer? =]

My major summer '08 plans:
1. Volunteer at a Summer Enrichment Theatre Program in my town.
2. Get my driver's license [that's about 7 months overdue...]
3. Go to New York and see Phantom of the Opera =D.
4. Reach my goal of 2,000 questions answered.
5. Be on Advicenators a lot =D.

And most likely they meant to say either "I KNOW this kid" or they liked them as a friend and weren't specific enough.

They're common sense, like picking out the similie or writing your own example of alliteration.

We always have to write a huge essay comparing the motifs within the novels we've read during the semester.
My mid-term exam was 10 pages! I think the minimum was 8 =/

Trust me, AP gov was the easiest class ever.
The AP exam was really easy, too.
The students in my class were really lazy and not the brightest kids, either.
The multiple choice questions were really easy. The short answer questions weren't too bad, either. They were tough, but not horrible.
Seriously, AP US Gov/Politics was one of those easy-A classes... if you know about the goverment and you're interested in politics anyway.
I took it because I didn't know anything about governemnt and wanted to be well informed with elections coming up and stuff.
I had to work a lot harder than the others in my class, but even I managed a decent grade in the class.
Oh, and my first college class is August 26th, I think. Only 5 classes a semester, an average of three classes per day, and I only have one class on Fridays :-). College = Freedom! I'll change my schedule a bit so my times aren't so scattered (I have over an hour between each class, so they're spread out really far meaning they extend from 8am to 6pm... my entire day!), but other than that - it's cool so far!

Well I'm already taking Classical Lit, which my English teacher wrote the curriculum for and he says it's harder than AP English. I'm also taking Spanish 4 and AP Calc AB and Physics. I think I've got four hard classes already.
Plus the teacher doesn't give out As =O

Yay, I got my report card today!
Senioritis hit me hard.
A+, A, A- and an icky B-.
I had a 98 in my speech/debate class for the first grading period. The second grading period I received the lowest passing grade you can get, a 70! Wow, the final marking period of my senior year, talk about SLACKING. Well, I received a 95 on my final exam grade which bumped my final grade up to a B- (which is anywhere between and 85-88). Pretty good for all that slacking off!
Be careful when you crazy kids hit senior year. Being a second semester senior makes school work difficult. Once you get accepted into college, who cares anymore! Then again... colleges can always take back that acceptance. Once I realized that, I tried really hard to do well on my exam so I would bring my grade back up. At least I made honor roll! haha.

For our senior video, they asked students to define the word, then they asked teachers do define it.
Some english teachers said: "Senioritis is a made up word that makes an excuse for laziness." or something along those lines.
