It won't hurt nearly as bad if you are completely relaxed, most people freak out and it ends up hurting a lot more then it should, try taking it easy first. If you are freaking out no matter what you do perhaps you aren't ready yet to have sex or you not doing it with the right guy. It can also hurt the guys penis if you aren't staying calm.

I'm assuming you're a girl. Yes it hurts! Theres no
shying away from it and as well it will keep hurting untill you let him go all the way in. Don't be scared though because most guys know it hurts girls and understand. Also it is both painful and pleasurable. Take care

Most likely there will be slight or medium pain.

Before I lost my virginity I heard that the first time having sex hurt from a bunch of gals.

Personally when I had sex my first time I felt pain, and budged away from his penis. He never went inside of me all the way because I wouldn't let him due to the tightness and pain I felt.

The second and third time we had sex I still felt some pain, but less and less each time.

Eventually the pain went away.

It's normal.

not if you have the other person finger you first and loosen you up. lube is always good and will really ease any pain you might have. ; )
