I don't know what happened. I've had him for over a year now and he's always been my little baby. Then this week he's suddenly gotten very vicious and I'm especially confused because I've actually been going out of my way to do more things for him that he likes.

For example, I bought him a new pricey food and water bowl that's raised so that he stops getting chin acne from the plastic on the floor ones he had before and so he doesn't accidentally get food in his water anymore.

I switched him over to the more expensive wet food that he likes more.

I bought him some salmon flavored lickable calming gel that he likes.

I set up a chair by the window so he could look out when hes in my room. I've been letting him freely roam the house.

The vet said he appears healthy so I don't know what's going on.

Whenever I go to pet him he bites me. He'll even reach his paws around my hand and pull it in and then bite me. He'll chase me down a hallway and bite my ankles. When he wants food he attacks me. He constantly seems ticked off and flicks his tail around.

I'm feeling really stressed out because I pour a lot of money into him and then he turns on me like this? For no reason? I feel like I spoiled him and ruined him.

What do I do?

I'm not a vet but as my user name suggests I know a thing or to about cats!

Great that the vet says your cat is healthy, I'm wondering if it is something environmental that is causing your cat an issue.

Is there another animal in the neighbourhood? Be may feel threatened. Or could it be his food? Sometimes little treats are nice but they contain a lot of additives, with my cat he was very 'frisky' when on wet food made by a very well known brand. I'd seek professional advice first, but plain old biscuits might calm him down.

As much as you may want to go the extra mile to help calm your cat down I think the opposite might work. Cats are friendly but also enjoy their independence and with my cat he gets a bit annoyed if I overly fuss and pet him. So my advice is to not do this and let him be.

As someone who has anxiety, it's not! It's not cute and romantic to avoid things because of irrational fears, to not be able to relax your body, and for your body to always be shaking. Or taking hours to fall asleep to wake up at 3 am having a panic attack, hallucinating. It's not aesthetic to be doing a project in science class that involves heart rate and find out your pulse beats 40 above average even though you eat right, exercise and are generally a healthy person and people being like "???" And not wanting to explain. And being worried about everything, from your friends leaving you even though that's unreasonable because your friends are great and have stood by you through everything but you're afraid if you express your feelings they'll definetly hate you to being afraid a war will suddenly break out or an apocalypse of some sort which is even more unreasonable. Sweaty palms and stomach aches and head aches and freaking out over everything is not romantic, cute or anything! And especially people believe that you're faking it and tell you to just get over it and "stop worrying" like I'M TRYING BUT THE BRAIN TOO IS AN ORGAN THAT CAN MALFUNCTION JUST LIKE THE LUNGS, KIDNEY, LIVER, ETC YOU DON'T TELL PEOPLE WITH ASTHMA TO JUST BREATHE NOW DO YOU!!!!! I keep noticing people who don't have anxiety in the slightest using it as a theme for their crappy blog, or if I talk about symptoms some edgy™ emo kid will go "same." Like no your not "same" just because you get nervous sometimes. Like I am constantly living in the moment where your chair tips and you seem like you're about to fall but you don't. All the time. And people think it's romantic. If you think it's so cool you can have mine I will gladly give it to you because it's not cute. Why do people romantacise anxiety? Also what's up with people thinking your lover can fix everything like supportive loved ones help but a gf/bf can't cure a mental illness?

Firstly as someone who has anxiety I don't know anyone who thinks it is romantic or cute...more used to people misunderstanding it.
Secondly this is an advice site and youve not asked for a piece of specific advice? So if you want advice how to help cope with anxiety then re write the question because I'm unsure why you posted this on an advice site to be honest.

Hi, I'm a 14 year old and I want to give my bf a hand job. I've never did anything like that before, and I'm scared I might have a panic/asthma attack if I do because I have never done anything before. He says when I'm ready, but we both know he wants me to. Any suggestions? Oh, a bit of background: I'm 14, he is 13, but I'm only 3 months older than him and we have had phone sex and have been making out and we have been together for over 3 months now. Also, I have like rubbed the front of his pants and boxers and he has came from that but he wants skin to skin contact. From Europe.

I dont know if you quite understand how Asthma or panic attacks work.
You won't get an asthma attack if you've not been diagnosed with asthma. Yes you can have them even if this is not the case but generally it's very unlikely you'll get one doing this.
Panic attacks are something I've had in the past, where you honestly feel like your dying. They're caused by built up anxiety over a sustained period of time-you have to be ultra worried about something and dreading it. When they strike it's hard to breather properly and you get tunnel vision, sweats and palpitations.
So no you won't get a panic attack because if you were dreading doing this to your bf that much you wouldn't have posted on here asking for help to actually do it-you just wouldn't do it all together.

I mean has he ever had a hand job before? If he loves.you he'll be patient with you and the best thing you can do is ask how he likes it and he can guide you.
Sure you're not going to be ace first time who is but I guess my advice would be to stop worrying about it as it's all part of how you learn to do things properly. Ask him to guide you. If he is disatisfied by what you've done then he doesn't deserve you ad a girlfriend.

Don't stress you're only 13...

Hi! I'm 28/f.
So, my cat, Luna, is 8 years old, and spayed. It's been just the two of us (against the world - hah) since she was a kitten. She's skittish to the point that she sometimes gets jumpy and runs if a car sounds wrong. We've had some rough times, but she's adapted to everything, including dogs (not directly, but dogs in the home)... She's never had to adapt to another cat.

I've taken in a kitten - Siren is her name. She's a stray, can't be more than a few months old (still has kitten fuzz and a kitten mew) and the sweetest thing. I checked her for fleas and anything visible before I made the decision to bring her home (haven't taken her to the vet yet, money is tight) and gave her one heck of a bath after I clipped her claws. I've never caved to taking in a stray before (I will have a backup home for her, but not for another couple of weeks), but when I realized how thin she was, I knew I had to take her (guys, you could feel ALL of her ribs and her spine, and when she was given food, it was like she hadn't eaten for weeks)

Luna is not taking too well to this. Even though I sequestered Siren, Luna has holed herself up in the closet. I moved her food, water, AND litterbox into my bedroom because I wasn't sure she would come out to eat or relieve herself. The couple of times they have seen each other, there has been hissing (of course). A couple times Siren actually went after Luna - and Luna, being an indoor, pampered, skittish sweetheart, RAN. In fact, I think she ripped off one of her own claws trying to get away. I tossed Siren into a room with a swat on the butt a couple times.

I'm doing my best to play mediator and build Luna up to be the dominant cat, but I think because of our one-on-one dynamic, I might actually have taken the "alpha cat" position rather than Luna, so I've tried to take that into account. I don't stop Luna from hissing, but I do stop Siren. Today they managed to be within sight of one another for a few minutes before Luna started growling.

I keep Siren in the bathroom (with the necessities of course) when I'm not home so Luna has free reign of the apartment (not that Luna ever seems to leave the bedroom), but when I'm here, Siren LOVES to cuddle. I try to make a point to go cuddle Luna with Siren's scent on me; and Luna sleeps with me at night, but I've never done this before.

Any suggestions? Am I doing the right things? I want everyone to be comfy and happy, and I want my silly, purry, snuggly Luna back.

Not trying to scare you, but this happened to me about 5 years ago with a stray and the stray ended up chasing my cat out of his own back garden and we didn't see my cat for 2 days.

Luna feels threatened, and while I totally understand how hard it is to turn down say animals you've got to think of Lunas wellbeing.

I mean at this point it's up to you if you keep looking after the stray or taking it to a rescue shelter. But Luna is your cat and your pet who now feels threatened because your giving attention to another animal and some cats are just solo creatures.
To be honest? I don't think it's going to work out in terms of keeping all cats happy. I think if you want two cats then it's best to have two in your home from the get go. Luna has expressed her unhappiness with the situation and I think the only way to make her happy again would be to give the stray to a rescue centre.
I know it's tough but that's what I had to do, mostly because alon with my job I did not have the time to settle in the new cat properly. Also can you afford to keep the stray anyway? If you can't afford the pricey vets now...what if you go and the stray needs this doing and that doing etc...

You tried and I commend you but some times you have to admit stuff is not going to work out. Good luck

I rescued a stray fuzzball awhile ago. She can't be more than 3-4 months old at this point (still has kitten fuzz, still squeaky). I've been feeding her about 6oz wet food per day, but she constantly forages for more food.
When I found her, she was effectively starving, very bony, but had been surviving. I get the sense that if I were to let her free-feed, she would overeat because she's used to NOT having food... still adapting to actually having regular meals. She's gained weight and seems healthy (we have a vet appointment coming up).
Should I be feeding her more?

Related to the feeding, I have an older cat (8 years), also female. If I don't, like, lock the older cat's food up with her, the kitten eats HER food too (prescribed metabolic weight loss food), and my sweet lady does nothing to stop her. She'll hiss from a distance and growl sometimes, but... does this mean kitten needs more food? Should I LET her eat the other cat's food in hopes that the other cat will actually DO something about it at some point? I mean... my older girl isn't starving by any means, but I don't want her to get sick.

So... more food for the kitten? Let the kitten eat the other cat's food? Halp.

No don't let the younger kitten eat the older cats food. They need different food and especially as the other one has been prescribed.

With the kitten obviously ask the vet for advice. But in the mean time I'd feed her something plain. So alot of wet cat food by well known brands have additives in that make some kitten go really hyper. When my cat was a young kitten (6 mnths) the vet said to just feed him biscuits that were nutritious.

I think the vet will also want to check out the kitten thoroughly to. And because you can't be to sure where the kitten has come from it makes all the more sense to try and keep him distant from your cat.

Although your cat may not seem to mind in my experience they get quite jealous if there is a new kid on the block! Perhaps keep your cats feeding area where it is , and make a point of feeding the kitten but say in the garage or porch so your current cat doesn't feel threatened.

That's what I'd do, but obviously I'm not a vet so make sure you have a good conversation with the vet when you see them

My parents don't buy me anything. I sound like a spoiled brat, I know, and I should be grateful for what I have but i'm truthfully not. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, it's just that i'm sad. For Christmas last year I got a phone which I really did not expect! It was really a suprise and the first decent present in years. My sister walked miles just for it and I thank her for that. 2 years ago my Christmas present was deodorant and hair gel (My hair is very, VERY short). The same year for my birthday I got deoderantt, once again.
I know it sounds funny and all but i'm really serious. Three years ago I got MORE deodorant. I'm starting to get a feeling my parent is trying to insult me or something.

In my family we have one computer and a laptop. The laptop is my sisters (only for educational purposes) and she has 2 tablets but generously gave one to me. My dad is an administrator, but not me. I use it the most yet i'm not an admin. I have to play childish games which don't need to be installed. Just before I wrote this I was playing flash games. If I asked my dad for the password he would get angry and refuse and that would really bug me. I'm a gamer. So I get angry a lot . sorry have to go.

You've not said hoe old you are but it does sound like there could be financial difficulties going on. I mean some families even struggle to put food on the table. I think if you're unhappy you should get a job and get stuff you want.

I have really bad acne and blackheads on my face, chest, and back. What are some good drugstore/cheap products I could use?

As someone who suffered really badly with this myself the only real way to eradicate acne is to speak to a doctor about treating it.
They may refer you to a dermotologist or simply prescribe you will some benzyl peroxide or the pill (which can help reduce it)
If you suffer really badly this is the best bet - because the products on the shelves are for acute acne not mild-moderate. Also if they actually were effective then why would there be so many brands etc.Cheaper option long term is speak to a doctor.

I'm 18. I got drunk for the 3rd time last night. I got drunk to the point that I couldn't remember anything. Now I'm experiencing a really bad feeling. Headaches, stuffy nose, and whenever I eat I'd experience heartburn like even soup. My stomach hurts like it seems that acid built up on it. I puked too hard last night to remove the alcohol and drank coffee before I passed out to my bed. But this morning I can still feel the alcohol in my breath and whenever I burp I can still feel the alcohol though I've had meals and snacks. Now, Idk what to do. I could still feel the acid running in my stomach and I could still feel the alcohol whenever I burp. What should I do? How to get rid of this easily. What to do to never be hungover again? This is my first hangover. I drank like 1 whole bottle of Jack Daniels. Thank you.

Chances are that you're feeling slightly better since you posted this.

Most likely the headaches you're experiencing is a result of dehydration. Alcohol is very dehydrating and that's what causes headaches.
Drink plenty of water. There are so many things online that claim to be good for hangovers. Just try a banana and as I said lots of water and sleep it off.

Next time to get less of a hangover obviously don't drink as much! Also in between your drinks take a glass of water. Drink slowly. Never mix your drinks. Before you go to bed have plenty of water . Don't drink through a straw. When drinking using a glass we intake more air but through straw there's no air.

Sometimes I find when I fall asleep when I'm drunk I feel worse the morning after than not falling asleep anymore lol...

I'm not going to be a total bore and say don't drink but when you do water is your best friend!

It's worth noting too that I'm not a doctor and I'd the acidic symptoms continue make sure you see your GP to rule out anything.

For some reason, i can't take a crap. Can you tell me what i need to eat to fix my diet? Thank you.

See a doctor ideally because none of us are doctors on here. But something that creates roufage is good like bread.
Try lying on your back with youre legs bent and your knees to your chest too.
You can also take tablets to aid this but check label first. See a doctor though to check it's nothing serious.

Im not sure he's positive, cause he tells me he isn't (but who trusts anyone hahaha) still, I'm afraid this might give me AIDS, he came inside me, but he has a condom on and it clearly wasn't broken. So does that give me AIDS? Or is there a possibility?

This is an advice site, and my advice would be to educate yourself a little more before you start to have sex.

Condoms are 99% effective but there's always that 1% risk. If you're worried see a doctor, as none of us on here are qualified doctors.

Seriously though I think you'll be fine but double check if your worried there's no shame in it

I'm a 16 y/o born female..

I did have a self label of bisexual, and gender fluid. Now, I'm just... Q. (Questioning)

I am more attracted to girls than guys. If I see an attractive guy walking down the street, of course I'll think, "Wow, he's pretty cute!" Same thing with a girl.

However, I am NOT sexually attracted to men. I cannot imagine myself having any sort of sexual relations with a man.. but with a girl, I can.

For the future... well even now.

I can see myself as more of a man. My height is kind of holding me back. I'm 5' 7" ish, and I see guys who are 6' and taller.

I prefer dressing as a guy, and it kind of upsets me when I'm out with my mom wherever, and a person says, "Can I help you two ladies with anything?"

I try making my voice deeper, and I wear a binder from GC2B. I've been thinking about having top surgery.. and maybe even taking Testosterone.

I just want to feel comfortable in my own skin.

What does this make me??

Does this make me transgender?

my advice to you would be to research where your nearest trans forum is and sit in a group discussion. Chat with like minded people and I'm not saying things may become easier/clearer for you.

Sometimes too I don't think you can put people in boxes because every one is different.
But if you're gender curious contact a local support group who can provide unique and often free help as you chose what your next options are. Take care.

I just don't want anybody to move here... now if you are coming from a 3rd world country and come to America for better opportunities then I TOTALLY accept that, but I'm talking about all the freaky freakaloo's from Europe or British land or whatever who come here because they want to "be cool" and "become American". No!! you can't "become" America. You either are or you aren't.
Just don't move here! Why do I feel like this? Just hate Europe and everything not American..

As a proud American you seem to acknowledge the basic fact that America was formed from other nations?
Even I knew that and I'm British. Also this is an advise site-can't really advise you on how to change your views other than to say get out and speak to people and develop more of an open mind . Oh and clue yourself up a bit more on American history 15 year old in my country learn about it.

I have a date Thursday with a guyi have been dating for 2 years he wants to have sex but I don't know how to yell him I can't because I am on my period

I agree with the other commenters. I've been in a relationship for two years also and I just say flat out no I can't I'm on my period.

Is that a bit taboo in your relationship? I know it grosses some guys out a bit but best tell him that rather than him think you're just not interested.

And if he acts anything less than understanding it's time to find someone else.

how do I talk to a boy or bus driver who keeps looking at me like every 4 minutes? I don't know what to do about this especially the bus driver

I disagree if they're just looking or staring at you then they're not doing anything wrong.
You've not said your age but I'm guessing you're below 18. Teenage boys will look at girls I'm afraid!
As for the bus driver idk maybe it's not just you he looks at. Bus just because he's looking at you doesn't mean he likes you or that he's doing anything wrong.
With the boy ask his friends why he appears to be checking you out.
With the bus driver ignore it.Any suggestion to them that you think they have 'intentions' can be crushing and embarrassing. Of course if he does act in a sexual way tell an adult.

But IMO no need to go speak to someone just yet. Boys will be boys.
Are you sure you didn't post this because you want someone to say they probably like you? Because you were obviously looking at them or paying attention to them in your peripheral vision to notice they looked at you in the first place. Seen it alot on here!

In three words my advice would be: Just ignore it

(14/f) Is too skinny even a thing? Well apparently I am and no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to put on any weight. It's really annoying and kind of depressing how my friends are curvy with a nice body and they seem to joke that they're fat and take the piss out of my lack of it.

I have little boobs and a small bum and I hardly ever get a second glance while my friends get wolf whistles. Now what I really want to ask is: How can I accept my body image or is there another way to put it on?

Does protein stuff work? Or am I doomed to eat carbs for the rest of my life?

You're six years younger than me but I have the exact same issue! Frustrating isn't it? People may treat you like a kid because you don't look womanly and you sometimes feel unattractive and unworthy?

Well my advice to you would be to find something that you do love about yourself. So maybe you're super ambitious or have a pretty face? It can be anything but whatever it is hold on to it because it's important you have something positive to say about yourself!

Now onto the putting on weight aspect. Firstly you don't HAVE to put on weight that is, if you are healthy. And I wouldn't recommend doing new weight gaining methods without consulting a professional first.
There could be several reasons you can't put on weight. I'm not a doctor so don't take what I say as fact, but it could be that you have a high metabolism. An overactive thyroid or maybe as you're only 14 weight will come in your later teens.

But I get it, you're unhappy and want to change. It hard because you're so young so I wouldn't advise going to do weights at a gym at your age. Or prote in shakes actually. What you could do is try some squats. Make sure you get advise from a professional first but squats really help in building muscle mass around the hips, and so give you are bigger bum gradually. There are lots of easy exercises you can try.

Just remember you're still growing and that won't stop rill you're 19 so who knows what could happen in the next few years?
If it's any consolation I was very thin at you're age and even without trying puberty just meant even I got a little cubbies!
If it's a concern speak with a doctor but in my opinion wait to see what happens for now and when just enjoy beING a teenager.
Sure Beyonce is hot but so i's Taylor Swift-see what I'm saying?! Take care

No but there is a chance of getting an infection

Judie - that is horrible advice.

Cut the crap - men don't want to date/marry an obese woman.
You can blow sunshine up someone's ass all day long with your pie in the sky views, yet if she isn't willing to put effort into losing the weight within a fair time frame, then move along.

I'm not going to invest my time/energy/money into someone that continues to gain weight and poses a dire health threat to herself and her longevity.
Life is too short.

Men are visual creatures, that's life.
Keep your obese view point to yourself and go enjoy time with your obese husband.

If you think appearance doesn't matter, then you truly are living in a pipe dream.
Obese women are hideous; there is absolutely no attraction whatsover to fat rolls, massives asses and tree trunk arms and legs.

I'm not going to pull any punches and why should I. Too many people are overly concerned about political correct behavior.
To hell with that - control your terrible carbohydrate,sugar/fat laden eating habits, deal with your potential thyroid issues and/or go seek counselling.

Do you think obese women have the energy to go out for a nice hike, or enjoy all the wonderful things in life that require a modest amount of physical energy? No, they don't.

Men - it's not worth it.
Move along.

Whoever you are, you do realise people are clicking on this question thinking you want advice only to be confronted with this angry rant?! Also try to be less insulting as you'll only get kicked off this site.

How do I download free music, but not from spotify I want to listen to whatever I want. I'm using a samsung 5 and I've heard of downloading things from YouTube. How exactly do I do this?

Type in to Google youtube converter to mp3. Click on of the top options. Copy the link of the youtube clip into where it says and click convert. This will make there be a tab at the bottom of your screen which when itdz downloaded will say 'Open'. Click on the arrow and make sure to save it somewhere you can find it.
Tip: Choose the song you want and click 'Lyrics' so you don't get the music video as that wont be good to listen to since there may be silences and other noises in the music vid

recently i have a bank account and i own a debit card and mostly on fridays i go to the bank to deposit my check and sometimes i get cash back and at the bank is this beautiful charming young lady who mostly helps me deposit my check and sometimes she calls me dear and i sort of feel attracted to her but i know i cannot go on a date with her becuase i believe she is married and i wouldnt want my mind to be tortured by jealousy so what can i do and Kittenlover2000 i hope you get this in your advice column and hopefully you can give me some great advice on fixing this problem thank you

Forget about her in that way. I'm sorry to be blunt, but she is married so should be off limits!
I know the thought of dating a married lady may excite you, but think of the implications it could have on her family, husband and even kids if she has any? All for what?

We all can get wooed over by shop assistants from time to time. After all they're trying to get you to use their service or buy their product. So of course they're going to be charming! But it doesn't mean they fancy us in that way. Its their sales pitch, part of their job description.

I know this may not be what you want to hear. But you have to tell yourself you can not be with this married woman, or even date her, because she's not on the market anymore!
But there are plenty more fish in the sea as they say!
