Can a relationship survive on not so good sex my boyfriend is 22. I'm not sure if it's because he was in a terrible accident when he was younger but he can't stay hard and if he does get off its not very much. I enjoy sex a lot. Could these become a problem.
If there is no sexual content in the relationship then it would be considered platonic.
Technically, The answer to your question would all depend on the standards and expectations you seek in a partner. I would say as long as you both have a good solid relationship with good communication then I don't see why not. Sex isn't what a relationship is about, It's only part of a relationship. I confess that my sexual appetite is greater than my partner's but I do not feel any less about him and we are due to marry in a couple of years time because in the great scheme of things it is not that important as a life without him. Try doing different things to turn him on. Or try doing different positions.
TheAnnie answered Sunday March 9 2014, 2:01 pm: It depends how your priorities I suppose. If sex is one of the main things you look for in a relationship then it could be difficult. However, if you really enjoy his personality and love being with him then perhaps you can be willing to make due with not so great sex? You should think about if it's something you can deal with long term. Not to mention, there are pills that he could probably take to help (ask a doctor before proceeding with this). It might be something you should talk to him about and could potentially benefit both. [ TheAnnie's advice column | Ask TheAnnie A Question ]
