I'm going to say right now that that is not a symptom of bipolar disorder. As a person who lives with it, I can tell you that it's a lot more severe than just crying randomly. It's periods of low energy and depression accompanied by periods of reckless behaviour, rapidly cycling thoughts, or even hallucinations.

There are a few things that can make you overly emotional. One of them is just being a teenager. I can't even tell you how many times I would randomly burst into tears as a teen: there's a lot going on both mentally and biologically. Your hormones make you crazy, and you're still trying to figure out who you are as a person.

Speaking of hormones, I don't know if you're on birth control, but if you are that could be the culprit. My sister had horrible crying fits for months before they found out that it was her birth control causing it. She swapped it out for a low hormone dose and that did the trick.

It's also possible that it relates to the point you're at in your menstrual cycle. Is it a week or less before you're due? I find that almost exactly a week before my period starts, I have a crying fit that you can time like clockwork.

So there are lots of things that can make you have a random crying fit. If you find yourself having suicidal thoughts on a regular basis, or becoming constantly depressed, get in touch with your doctor.

Bipolar nope. That's a mental illness where the symptoms are grandiose ideas, feeling omnipotent, God like in some cases, bad decisions, and delusions on-top of rapid cycle mood swings and voices.

It's a little thing I'd like to call hormones.

Honestly, your normal. It happens to the best of us.
It doesn't mean you're bipolar. Although, if this starts happening a lot, go get checked out and the doctors can help you.

Technically speaking all us women can be somewhat bipolar to an extent :p . Stress can make anyone very emotional ...feeling a lot of different things at once and feeling all over the place. It's totally normal. Just because other people can hide their emotions better than others does not mean they don't feel overwhelmed and all over the place too. If you need someone to vent to im available or if you're close to someone you should talk to them and just tell them what's on your mind. It helps to have someone that can empathize with you :)
