Unprotected sex: should I take plan b?

Question Posted Sunday August 4 2013, 1:52 pm

I am 16 years old and I dated this guy for almost a year. We broke up last November, got back together in January, and broke up in February. There's something about him that I can't let go so I keep going back to him. I had him over yesterday and we were alone so we were kissing and one thing led to another and we ended up naked. We decided to have sex so he put his erect penis in my vagina for about a minute before taking it out and we did other stuff instead. I'm really worried because that's when I was most fertile. He didn't cum in me but I'm worried about his precum. Should I take plan b? should i be fine? I have soccer scholarships on the line I can't get pregnant I'm really worried please HELP!

Maybe give some free advice about: Birth Control Pills?

This comes under the heading of: When in doubt do what has to be done for your own protection so yes take the I-Pill.

As a 16 year old you have the right to seek birth control medication from your doctor without parental permission or knowledge. This right is given to you under a Federal Law known as HIPPA. In this law is a section that gives young people medical confidentiality over their reproductive systems when they turn 14 years of age.

This means that when it comes to your reproductive system; no one, not mom or dad can have any access to medical information concerning your reproductive system medical information. Your doctors cannot talk to your parents about any visit you may have or any treatment you receive that is for or includes your reproductive system.

If your school system, as ours does, requires all students to have a physical before the start of the school year. IF your doctor includes a pelvic exam in your physical, mom cannot be in the exam room and mom cannot know the results of the physical without your written consent to the doctor to release this information.

Your reproductive system is now entirely your responsibility. Congress wrote this in to the law not to give young people license to have sex. They did so that in the event there is a problem that you would not talk to a parent about. This law allows you to go to any doctor of your choosing to have the problem cared for. This includes abortion rights. You can't be forced to have one or stopped from having one by your parents.

This also means you can ask for and receive birth control medication and your doctor must prescribe it and the pharmacist must dispense it. No one can see your medical records concerning you reproductive health without your written permission. To release this information without your permission means who ever did so faces 5 years in prison and a $5,000fine.

Yes, take plan b, otherwise known as morning after pill. It is still effective if taken within 72 hours of having sex...thats within 3 days, but not over.
You are old enough to get on some kind of birth control. You can go without parents permission to planned parenthood or your regular gynecologist.
Some women get side effects to hormonal birth control like the pill, the shot, the Mirena IUD. To have the most carefree sex life and always be protected, no matter how long a gap between lovers and sex, you could go with the Copper IUD also called Paraguard. Look it up on line and read all about it. I used it when first married. It may cost more having it put in. But it is good for 10 years. After paying for monthly pills or the shot regime for 10 years, all other venues end up more expensive in the long run. No side effects. Can be removed by doctor when you want to become pregnant and you dont have to wait for body to come off hormones to try to conceive, and is very effective. Good luck!

Try birth control yes.

But if you can't control your self then you're not old enough to be having sex in the first place.

Its not good enough to say one thing led to another, this could be a baby's life your dealing with.

So walk away from your ex, for good because you're not ready for motherhood yet.

I would definitely take plan B....

Now I must ask, Why would you have unprotected sex or even sex with someone you know that it won't work out with? If your relationship has failed several times then it is very very likely to fail again.

One thing may of led to another but it also could of been ztopped and it wasn't.
