Blood on the blood sheet is the old world definition of a woman's virginity. This was before women became liberated and able to do more than just work on the farm, cook or clean the house.
It is possible that an active girl/women can lose her Hymen through sports activities, bike riding, gymnastics and other activities. If you use tampons it is possible you may have dislodged your Hymen. This does not mean you ruined your virginity. It just means you probably won't bleed during first intercourse.
Once your boyfriends penis penetrated your vagina, the moment he did so you lost your virginity. One other thing; if your boyfriend was not using a condom and was in you for the four or five minutes you wrote about. Even though he may not have ejaculated, he may have expressed enough fluid, referred to as pre cum. This fluid contains enough semen to make you pregnant.
You may want to get a home pregnancy test kit and follow the directions as to when to test, how long after the intercourse occurred and time of day. To see if you are pregnant. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]

So you did have sex. You're not a virgin.
You don't always bleed when you first have sex.
