Percocet is oxycodone combined with Tylenol. Your sister is damaging her body and mind and it's obviously affecting you as well. Oxy is dangerous if used in high doses and its highly addictive. Tolerance occurs rather quickly and before long the user needs more and more to feel the effects (I speak from experience). Oxy slows down your respiratory system (breathing) and can have a lot of bad effects (severe constipation, never pleasant!). Also, the user cannot just stop taking it all of a sudden if they've formed a habit because that is dangerous, it must be tapered off of (reducing the amount taken little by little). The reason for this is there will be withdrawal if stopped suddenly, and this withdrawal can cause damage or even death. Your sister needs to stop and so does her boyfriend. Tell your parents or any adults that you trust because its very likely that she is going to need all the help she can get to stop what she's doing.

I can't tell you exactly what harm it will do to them as this is the first I have heard of anyone smoking Oxy. What I can tell you is that this is a narcotic medication and for that alone the abuse of it can do them great harm. It is also a very addictive drug the smoking of which I would guess is also addictive.

Percocet or Oxys (Oxycodone) as they are called on the street, is a class II drug. Meaning it is illegal to possess them without a valid prescription. To have them on your person and not in the prescription bottle they came in can result in a person being arrested for possession of Narcotics.

By whatever name you wish to call them this drug is very addictive and meant to be used to control severe pain. In fact recent federal laws have been passed to monitor the distribution by doctors of this and other drugs like it to insure doctors are not over prescribing or part of a drug distribution ring.

While no one likes a tattletale in this case the best thing you can do for your sister is to inform your parents of what you know. You just may save her life. From my view point it is better to have her mad at you then to attend her funeral.
