condom didnt break and no sperm has ever got on me. could i still get pregn
Question Posted Tuesday January 22 2013, 11:22 pm
Me and my Boyfriend have been using condoms for the passed 4 months since he took my virginity. None has ever broke or had holes in them and no sperm has got on me. My period is due in about 5 days and I usually will feel me starting to cramp. I'm feeling it off and on now but I don't know if I'm imagining it? I'm really paranoid about this and I need advice from someone who knows and can help, please. I'm seriously freaking out. My period isn't late or anything. Its due in about a weel or less. It switches around sometimes so should I be worried? Your advice would be very helpful. Thanks!

Even if you say the condom didn't break, sperm did not get on you, blah blah, there are still ways you can get pregnant. Sperm can always seep out of the condom. If you are not on birth control, I suggest you get on it. Another good thing to have around is the "Plan B" or "Day after pill" you can get this from the pharmacy counter at CVS, or most drugstores with a pharmacy counter.
Always keep in mind, nothing is 100%, condoms are only 85-97% effective depending on if you use them every time, and use them correctly. Same with birth control, it is only 95% effective, but if taken correctly, meaning every day at the same time it increases to 99%. This is why I suggest both, including the Plan B pill, if taken quickly after sex, the Plan B pill is nearly 89% effective. (Plan B pill is for if the condom broke, or for some reason you had sex without protection)
Combining all these contraception's, you can get very close to 100% but remember, it is never going to be 100% the only way you can get 100% is from abstinence.

Symptoms can include:
Nasua,headache,tiredness,missed period,food cravings,a stomach of course ect

You can start getting worried next week if you're period hasn't came yet. Then just stop by a store and pick up some tests. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about though. I don't know how old you are, but I would suggest you try to get yourself on the pill if at all possible. You don't want to be feeling paranoid every month!
