Pissed at guy for no reason

Question Posted Monday January 21 2013, 12:30 am

I mildly hooked up with this guy I wasn't attracted to and felt kind of violated the next morning. He didn't do anything wrong. He was actually really, really nice and that's what pisses me off and I don't know why! He was also kind of a meek p***y, which was SUCH a turnoff. I know I sound arrogant but I can't help but feeling so pissed at him every time I think about it! I'm dumb for allowing the physical stuff to happen, it was my fault. He mildly pressured me to let him stay over and I let him. Maybe that's why I'm so pissed. Is this normal?

I think I'm going to disagree with the other people who have answered so far, just on the basis of personal experience.

You didn't really like the guy, and you fooled around with him for no particular reason other than a mild pressure on his behalf. You (basically) wasted your time, because the guy isn't interesting enough to make it worth it.

I've done the same. I felt awful about myself for a few weeks, then life went on. The best thing you can do is to learn from this mistake and move on. I don't know if it's normal, but at least now you know that there's someone else out there who has been in the same situation!

Yeh its normal to feel a sense of guilt when this happens.
Subconciously, I think to be honest you feel guilty because you clearly wern't in a loving relationship with this guy, and wern't planning on being. So deep down maybe you're just upset that it wasn't anything special at all and was a meaningless spare of the moment thing? Or maybe you just feel like he used you and you used him for instant pleasure, but are angry because like I said before it was meaningless?

You admit it was your fault for allowing this to happen to begin with. How about being pissed at yourself instead of this really, really nice guy who doesn't deserve your anger?
If he was a turn off, you should have put on the breaks and sent his ass home at that point.
You're not dumb, but if you're going to be angry, be angry with the right person.
