What if instead - this guy was your boyfriend and someone wanted to come up from behind you and ask him out anyway knowing he was already with someone?
Always have respect for BOTH people in a relationship.
I've been in these situations many many times, and I have to say that out of all the guys I've every liked, only two have ever liked me back.

Don't get desperate and know that if this guy has a partner you don't have to interfere. Because you wouldn't like another girl doing the same thing with your boyfriend, would you?Hope I helped:) [ mercury's advice column | Ask mercury A Question ]

If a guy you like is already in a relationship, you really need to respect that he is in a relationship, and not try to lure him away from his girlfriend, you wouldn't want someone to do that to you, so try to be respectful that they're in a relationship, and even if he could possibly have feelings for you, even though he's in a relationship, he needs to break up with his girlfriend before starting another relationship. He could also still have feelings once he breaks up with her, because it's hard to forget about someone after you've been with them a while.
