Tigz285 answered Friday January 4 2013, 8:13 am: It is normal to fart through your vagina - it's called queefing. A queef is the sound and action of air being emitted from your vagina. Although it's considered to be a fart from your vagina, there are no intestinal gasses being expelled so there is no odour. Queefs happen when there is air pushed into the vagina and then it is expelled. You can't predict a queef but they can happen during sex, fingering masturbation, yoga or it can just happen randomly. You should not be embarrassed about queefing - these things happen. [ Tigz285's advice column | Ask Tigz285 A Question ]

Teens call this a "queef" or "vaginal fart" (which is a term that can be Googled) and essentially what it amounts to is air packed into the vagina that escapes back out. An example: during intercourse from thrusting air can escape and make a sound like a fart. But make no mistake it's not.
orphans answered Thursday December 20 2012, 8:50 pm: no. you are completely normal. off period or on period. its called a queef. not sure if thats how you spell it. but thats how its pronounced. and you cant stop it, but a suggestion would to be not to open your legs? but youre normal.
