What jobs can I get with a major in Communication and Nursing?
Question Posted Tuesday November 6 2012, 5:01 pm
I am for sure majoring in Communication and I really want to major in Nursing as well. What kind of jobs could I get using both of those degrees?
Thank you very much!
Nursing: Obviously work in a hospital or a doctors office. You could also work as a professional care giver for those that need people to work on shifts around the clock taking care of elderly.

Then she did a fast-track program for nursing, built for people who already have degrees in other things. Now she does that. She might as well not have the first degree.
I know that's the case for one particular person, and may not apply to you or the area you live, but it's definitely true that nurses are needed everywhere. It's a lot of politics, but you can get a job anywhere in the country with it. I discourage people from getting dual majors anyway. I would say stick with one. You can always get the other later. I would lean towards nursing; it's a larger market. [ K3587's advice column | Ask K3587 A Question ]

Finding a job for communications and nursing, you might want to look into social work and education. As in, teaching nurses. [ xomegaroni's advice column | Ask xomegaroni A Question ]
