EmmaKenzie answered Friday July 13 2012, 6:15 pm: I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say you're right handed. Why? Because breasts are just fat, and if you use your right arm more than your left, you're exercising the fat on your right side (writing, carrying something, and so on) more than your left. It really is normal to be uneven in your breasts, my boyfriend likes it because it makes it easier to tell which is which (my boobs are named: piggy and cupcake. piggy is bigger than cupcake). If it really bothers you, you can exercise your left side more (use your left hand for simple tasks instead of your right. For example if you have something to carry and you can carry it in one hand, use your left hand instead of your right).
But honestly, it doesn't matter. Your future boyfriend (and/or girlfriend) will not care. No one's perfect, so just go with it! It's alright. Some females have breasts so different that they're different cup sizes even. Know what they do? They get bras that fit (yes they make bras where half is one cup size and the other is a different cup size). So there isn't anything to worry about. And you're still only 14, your breasts will most likely even out more than they are now. For some reason they don't grow at the same rate, I don't know why but there you go. So just be patient, they'll probably even out quite a bit more than they have so far. [ EmmaKenzie's advice column | Ask EmmaKenzie A Question ]
adviceman49 answered Friday July 13 2012, 10:23 am: First, relax your normal. It is the norm, especially in someone so young and still developing for one breast to be a little smaller than the other. Yes it is hormones per say but not as you mean it to be.
While I am not an expert I have seen and felt my share of women's breasts and can say that I have not seen or felt any breasts that are exactly the same size. My wife had plastic surgery because of breast cancer and still the surgical implanted breast is not the same size as the natural breast that was tucked.
What you should look for as you continue to develop is a large difference in the size of your breasts. While this is a rare condition it does happen. What you would be looking for is a full cup size or more difference. If this happens then you need to see a doctor and have the condition surgically corrected. which won't happen until your about 17 or 18 and have completed puberty.

In fact, the only reason half the celebrities whose boobs AREN'T uneven is that they have had plasitc sugery. I'm fourteen, too, and mine aren't the same size, either, so I can sympathize. There's not really much you can do about it, unless you get a specialty bra made, and that can be really expensive, and you'd probably have to go and get measured for it. I just live with mine--buying a bra that's got more padding in it makes it seem more even, but I try to avoid demi-bras because they don't work as well. I would say, "Just wear looser shirts," but I don't like loose shirts very much, so I'm assuming you don't either. By the way, if it just gets worse when you get older, you could always go to a plastic surgeon, but that's REALLY pricey, and you have to be old enough that you're sure they're not growing anymore.
Hope this helped! [ teenhelper2's advice column | Ask teenhelper2 A Question ]
