And about your period, you'll get that eventually too. You're going to have your period for years and years and years every single month, be happy you're getting it later than your friends. Trust me, it can be a pain.
You can't change it, you just need to accept it. Everything will be ok. [ lightoftruth's advice column | Ask lightoftruth A Question ]

With patience from your side, in time your boobs will probably most likely get bigger :). When I was your age, I had small breasts too and it bothered me because my best friends ha big ones. I just ended up wearing padded bras! Lol if you want you can do that I'd it will make you feel better.
About the period. You should feel happy that you don't have it because honestly, it's not as cool as it seems. Most girls that start their period at a young age actually wish it could have came later. So you are actually most likely envied by your friends on that one :). solidadvice4teens answered Saturday June 2 2012, 6:38 pm: It's not about age. It's about genetics and when other people in your family started their menarche and puberty in general. Your friends obviously have genetic traits from their family that means they started early.
Unfortunately, it's really a waiting game. It will happen but on its own clock. Also for a period to occur you need a certain amount of body fat, the presence of breast development, pubic hair and off/on discharge (whitish) that doesn't have odor or look like cottage cheese as that's sign of ovulation from what I've read.
I bet if you talked with your friends that they would tell you they probably don't like having periods and may wish they didn't. They'll also tell you big breasts aren't the greatest either as you can bet they get harassed.
The thing is breasts are meant to be proportioned to you. In the end you will be fine but for now have to let nature kick in on its own as there's no way to speed the process up. You could consult your doctor and ask why hasn't this happened yet? and see what he says based on genetics and rule out any remote medical reasons why not. Starting your period signifies becoming a woman to alot of young girls. The good thing about not started so soon is you are actually less likely to develop any type of female problems, like cancer.
When it comes to breast size the same thing is true there as well. Women who have really large breast have many health problems with age. You will develop and to be completely honest with you, you will find that you will remain perkier when you are older than those of your friends who developed faster.
Another little side note, I remember how much I couldn't wait to grow up but now I would say take your time. Age goes up and not down and before you know it you will be twenty-one and then one day forty. Take your time and enjoy your life. [ Carolsuz's advice column | Ask Carolsuz A Question ]

People hit puberty at different times. I understand that there is pressure from peers, and you often think "why are people developing quicker than I?". But you must realise that people *do* develop at different times. You will carry on developing until around 18 years of age.
But there is nothing you can do. It all depends on your body. If you worry, then your hormones will be all over the place, and may hinder your development. But just appreciate yourself as you are, and realise that there is nothing you can do as it is all, completely natural.
