Zombie Accoplous
Okay people,
I'm being serious when I ask this and no hateful comments because I'm really wondering.
Is it real? It's it beginning?
I mean, I know this sounds silly, but everytime I get on facebook someone is talking about it;
and than the guy from Miami that ate someones face and was only killed by a shot in the head; is that a start?
I know he was messed up on some type of salt; but still?
I'm curious to know. I never believed it until my friend showed me all these news clips saying it's about to begin.

I promise, there is nothing to worry about it. That guy was either really sick, high on drugs or both. Nothing is going on and if you are worried about 2012 in December, thats not going to happen. The mayans calendar didn't end in 2012, they found a longer longer longer calendar and the Mayans didnt have leap year so it is passed 2012 to them. So you have nothing to worry about! There is no Zombie apocalypse, just mentally ill people with no safety net.
There are also no unicorns, dragons or vampires.
Zombies are made-up. Exactly like unicorns, dragons and vampires. Even though some people will claim to have seen them, or even be them, they are fictional. Nothing can re-animate a corpse. It extremely unlikely that anything will ever, in the history of the universe, create actual, brain-craving, zombies.
The following things are true:
Drugs can be dangerous.
Mentally ill people who cannot access treatment or support can be dangerous.
Mentally ill and/or horribly drugged up people can do crazy-ass shit, like try to eat someone's face.
People say stupid shit online.

I didn't realize that telling someone the truth was hateful. I didn't call you an idiot. I don't think you are an idiot. I respect your desire to ask the question - I respect it enough to tell you the absolute truth - and the absolute truth is that zombies are no more real than unicorns, dragons or vampires, even though the news and movies do talk about zombies them as though they are more likely to exist.
I'm not entirely certain I'm the person here who is suffering from an anal blockage.
I would hope at least, since you took the time to take offense at my comments, you might take a minute and read Rena-Chan spectacularly thorough advice on the topic of zombies and try to give her a fair rating - rather than an abusive one.

With zombie apocalypses, the zombie bites someone, and within no time, they turn into a zombie. The man in question (the one who was eaten), is still alive, though in critical condition. I do not think a zombie apocalypse is at hand. The news media was just comparing the instance to our favorite horror icons. If anything, think logically about it. A Zombie is a walking corpse. Therefore, it would regardless continue to rot. Now, putting this into consideration, tendons, muscles, anything used to move would be rendered useless. Besides, for all we know, this type of "salt" may also be a nickname given for some kind of street drug, and do remember, some drugs do have very adverse effects. Such as PCP. On pcp, the person does not think clearly, and some reported cases have been shown that they feel no pain. Perhaps this is the case. As for the news clips, they exaggerate. They were not saying it was going to begin, they were comparing the incident to some of our favorite horror icons. I remember reading a news article stating
"So what does that have to do with zombies you ask? Well, this particular naked diner just happened to be a cannibal and was eating a guy’s face on the street. And apparently he was shot and kept right on eating… and then they killed him. That’s kinda starting to sound like a certain undead plague we all fear terribly, isn’t it?
But was he really a zombie? Maybe, but probably not. While the details at this point are few, we can pluck out a couple key factors that lead to a verdict of hungry, not zombie.
First, there haven’t been any reports of other zombie-like activities in the vicinity, or anywhere today really. It’s highly unlikely that patient zero would be chomping on his very first zombo meal when killed. Most initial attacks take place indoors, and in clothes. Remember that new zeds have been ill, and expired only moments before the assault, which is why zombification spreads so quickly… nearby loved ones.
Second, there are no reports of the victim turning. Now this could only be a matter of time, or a cover-up, but if we trust the media he is in critical condition in a hospital. You don’t hang around in any condition except dead when a zombie eats half your face. If the sickness were present, he would most likely be dead and undead by now."
Also remember, those types of zombies do not really exist. It was Romero's imagination that created this zombie in the 60's.. I believe it was that time. ALSO! A REAL Zombie is actually a mindless slave. As more realistically depicted in the film "White Zombie". So, is there a Romero zombie outbreak? No. Are there druggies out there? Yes. Please do remember, and always keep in mind, drugs can really mess you up. In more than just one way.
