How do I tell my friend I don't want to perform with her in the talent show

Question Posted Thursday March 22 2012, 7:45 pm

See, my friend wants me to perform in the talent show with her. She wants to do a skit that includes four people, and she unkowingly included me as one of those four people. Anyway, since the beginning of the year, I've always wanted to sing for the talent show, and my other friends say I should sing, too. I really want to sing, but I don't want to hurt my friend's feelings. What should I do?

Why can't you do both? Do her skit AND do your own song.

You have to do what you want to do and hopefully she understands this. Just be honest with her. I don't know how your school does it but maybe you can do both?

Just let her know,it'd be even worse to pretend that you are truly willing to perform along with her,so honesty is better. She'll understand:)women understand everything...

Oh yes, I have been though this. Just be honest with her and say "Look, I really want to do the skitwith you but i already had a plan for the talent show and im going to stick with that. But good luck"
If she understands and cares enough about you she will get it.
