Barcelona. It's a beautiful, modern city with a history that goes back to the Roman Empire. The people are friendly, the public transportation system is good, there's lots of good shopping, excellent food, reasonable hotels, and some really incredible museums. I went there in 1992 just before the Olympics, and I still miss the place.

Cruising is always nice but be aware the walls are thin and you can be over heard.

There are two places I love to visit. My favorite is Bermuda. It is probably the one place left on earth that is easy to get to for Americans and where we are still welcomed. It is also extremely safe.

There is plenty of shopping, pink sand beaches, places to visit and the food is fabulous. The people speak English and while the have their own currency it is equal to the dollar and the dollar is acceptable wherever you shop so their is no need to exchange you money.

The next PAC is England and Scotland. If you have never been there than London is the place to go. There is so much to see and do you could spend you entire Honeymoon just in England. Depending on how much of a history buff you are then you may want to make time to travel to other parts of the country such as Stone Hedge and Stratford-upon-Avon,where Shakespeare was born. You may also want to go up to Edinboro to see the Scottish Castle and the Scottish crown Jewels. Plenty of shopping there as well.

One thing though their English and ours is slightly different. Example: Napkin. What we call a Napkin to the English is a lap cloth. To them a Napkin is a feminine hygiene product. So don't be surprised if you get a startled look if you say something. Just ask if you have shocked them and say it is unintentional and they will explain the difference in meanings.

Have you thought about a cruise?

My husband and I went on a Caribbean cruise for our honeymoon, but there are lots of Mediterranean cruises available.

You get lots of time to each other if you want (especially if you splurge on a balcony room, which I highly recommend), you get to socialize with others at dinner, there's lots to do on a ship like dancing and shows, and you can do whatever you'd like in port: shopping, sightseeing, etc.
