I have pretty bad acne because I have an oily face. I know most of it is because of hormones and stuff but what are some tips that could help control acne? Thanks!

Your acne is most likely the result of your body's reaction to the hormones produced by puberty. This is a somewhat over simplification but it will do for know. Over the counter medications or home remedies will most likely not help and could do more harm.
The best thing you can do for acne problems such as you describe is to see a dermatologist. The cause for acne may be more than just oily skin. As I said it could be more a reaction, or triggered by hormones. With proper testing a doctor can find the cause and give you a proper treatment that hopefully results in clearing of the acne without leaving pock marks behind.
Dermatology treatments for acne is generally covered by Insurance which your parents may have through work. Your mom or dad can confirm this and find a doctor who accepts their insurance by calling the insurance companies customer service number on the back of their insurance card.
If you follow the doctors orders and do not get frustrated, as this takes time. In the end the results will be you will have great skin and hopefully no tell tale reminders of the acne left behind. [ adviceman49's advice column | Ask adviceman49 A Question ]

It works differently with different people so test it first. Every night, wash the face before you go to bed. ALSO, your PILLOW CASES. Flip and change them frequently. Or even better, make an appointment with your GP (doctor) and ask for a cream or pill to help control them.
It's always best to slightly over react about it (say it itches, hurts or even say a spot has caught on your top when you put it on and has started bleeding etc.) as you will be more likely to get a prescription then - weird advise I know, but it helped when my sister was getting it.
