mannequin24 answered Saturday January 7 2012, 1:46 pm: I know exactly what you're going through. My best friend moved away after 4 years of us being friends. She ended up moving back and now (5 years later), she's in boarding school on the other side of the country. Best friends moving aren't easy, but it's also a test of how strong your friendship is. Enjoy the rest of the time you have left. Depending on how far she's moving, you both could plan visits and stuff. You should continue contact with her, but don't expect to much. After she leaves, you both will always have those years where were bffs, but the current friendship won't be as much because you both will have to move on. It'll hurt a lot, but hold on to those memories and try and find some other friends. It's the best thing to do in a situation like that. I hope this was helpful and good luck :) [ mannequin24's advice column | Ask mannequin24 A Question ]
