First find out if he really does like you cause maybe h's giving hints that don't mean that so ask him " Do you like me cause i sure like you as a friend" say something like that

Be straight with him. Be as frank as you can but do not be harsh. Just tell him you don't like him like that and that you value your friendship.

Well you can straight up tell him you don't like him like that. That's an easy way to get him to stop throwing hints at you.
Or you can talk about some other guy you're interested in. You could be like, "Yeah I'm gonna go see this guy I'm interested in soon, ect"
Then he'll see you're not into him that way.

Well, I've been through it. But I had to get rid of this ''friend'' of mine. Guess, why? Because I did not want negativity in my life. This guy got on my nerves, and you l be surprised to know once we were great friends.
So, if you go to this friend and tell him openly and clearly, that you don't like him that way, and IF he is a good, understanding person, and a real friend to you, He will understand.
If I were you, and this guy, after me telling that I don't like him romantically, still asks me out, I would at least go out on a date because he is a friend to me, and I would do this for nothing else but his happiness.

You could say a categorical no, and tell him you want to be great friends with him.

Hope it helped a little.

Wish you the best :)

When he asks you to go on a date or says something flirty, just say something along the lines of "name, i think we are really great friends and i hope we can stay that way; i wouldnt want anything to ruin our friendship" If that doesn't work then your going to just have to come out and tell him that you dont feel for him that way. Some guys will get it the first time around, some guys wont.

Good luck!
