He will respect that, and may start liking you. Try to drop little hints that you may like him, because if he thinks you like him, he might like you more. Swish your hair, laugh at what he says, and complement him. These will all increase your chances. But yeah, mostly just be yourself and act comfortable around him. Good luck! But you could possibly get him interested in you if you two hang out and talk for some time longer. If you are impatient, then muster up the courage and tell him how you feel.
