Diet pills

Question Posted Thursday July 28 2011, 11:48 pm

Hello I want to lose approximately 20 pounds within the next 3 months. I do actively work out about 3 times a week for about 1.5 hours. I have stopped drinking soda all together and i'm working on eating healthy. I was wondering if there was any diet pills that could help me shed the extra pounds? Has anything worked for you? I'm a female if that matters. Thanks and any weight loss tips would be appreciated!!! I do rate thank you everyone.

You don't say what your height and weight is. My advice would be to workout five days a week (three on, one off, two on, one off) and keep on a low fat diet. If you go down to 1500 calories a day you can lose the weight in two months and change.

Swimming is great low impact exercise that will work every part of your body, but you have to do sustained numbers of laps. Plus it will improve your aerobic fitness and make you physically stronger. However, you will also gain some muscle and that is heavier than fat. So if you choose swimming or weights don't get obsessed with the number on the scale. Rather, go by how your body looks.

Diet pills are usually some form of amphetamine. So you can give that idea up.

As other people have said: Diet pills are scams. At best, they have really no effect at you. At worst, they are liable to harm you.

Get a good young woman’s multivitamin. It will be a useful support for your body through the lifestyle transition and is always a good idea.

What do you want out of your diet pills? Fat loss? Appetite suppression? I have tried various pills in the past (Hoodia, fat burners etc) and the one that seems to give me the most effective appetite suppression is Proactol. It's also supposed to bind to fat in your stomach so it doesn't get absorbed into the system, but I don't know too much about how it works or even IF it works. That being said, I can get the same effect (loss of appetite) from coffee, which is a lot cheaper :)

My best advice would be to take it slowly, don't freak out about your 3 month deadline, and don't go to extremes with your diet or training or this will just lead to bingeing and delay your weightloss even longer.

To be honest i've known people who use the diet pills... its not good..it just screws you up if you keep up switching diet pills... what im going to tell you like other people... what worked for me and you can look it up and testimonies , Zumba... its in stores to buy as game.. or go to your local gym.. Zumba is this cardio dance class... and if you put in effort you can loose up to 1,000 calories in a class.. trust me if you do that every day.. wow youd definatley be shedding 20 pounds off your back. Dont drink too much soda... I dont know if its such a good idea to not drink Soda because you obviously drink it I dont know how much you do but it can maybe affect your body because its use to it ,but drink LOTS AND LOTS of water.

:) Good luck
