Trauma answered Friday June 3 2011, 12:47 am: Cigars can be addictive. They contain nicotine, like cigarettes, and even though you may not inhale the smoke, the nicotine can be absorbed through the lining of the mouth. I highly doubt one cigar will have you hooked, but if you don't want to get hooked then you'd probably be better of not smoking at all.
orphans answered Thursday June 2 2011, 10:59 am: cigars are usually not addictive and normally dont do harm because you dont inhale any smoke. You just puff on it, and blow it out. The reason why Cigarettes are addictive is because they have nicotine in them, and when you inhale, you get addicted to that nicotine.
Cigars are not addictive... In fact, once you have one, you wont want another one. It just doesnt work like that, since the smoke on cigars burns your mouth for a short moment. But in general, i have never heard "quit cigars" ads... So smoking cigars is pretty okay. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
