I get my license next week. But, in order to get it I need 2 pieces of mail sent to my home with my name and address on it verifying that's where I live. I need a website where I can put my address in and them send me something, preferably just a brochure or something. I'd have a friend write a letter, but I just want to get it done quick and easy and not have to go out and get envelopes and all that. Thanks in advance. (:
You could just take 2 envelopes and address them to yourself, take them to the post office and mail them, All I think they want to see is that the Post office cancelled the stamp and delivered to the address shown. This should only, at worst take 2 days.
The reason for this is that many states, thanks to terrorism now want to see that the people they issued documents to are actually legal residents of the state. Mail delivered to that address is one way to verify this requirement.

I've never heard of this requirement. When I got my license all I had to show was a birth certificate to prove my age. That was back in the 1970's, though. Maybe the laws have changed. [ VoiceofReason's advice column | Ask VoiceofReason A Question ]
