How can I get my voice back?

I've been sick with a cold and my voice has been gone for 3 days now, I try not to talk but I have to at school and stuff. What can I do to get it back? Its driving me crazy!!

Loosing your voice for three or more days tells me this is more than a simple viral infection. You need to see your doctor or one of the Mediclinics. You might have some type of bacterial infection which requires an antibiotic to knock it out.


Warm liquids such as clear soups and tea may help sooth your throat until you see the doctor and the medicine kicks in.

Drink things like Sunny-D, water, and don't eat spicy foods or stuff that would irritate your vocal chords. :)
