Be there to talk to her and maybe as friends take her out to the movies just to get her mind off everything. You have to be the one to comfort her. She/he will need alot of time to heal from this. Being there for your friend and supporting her is the best thing you can do. Some times it is best to just sit and be there for them. even if words are not exchanges.
But you do want to look for warning signs as well. Sometimes when their significant other passes due to what ever it may be,. they might become depressed, not eating or even contimplate suicide. Just watch for unusual signs or activity with your friend.
