do i love him or not?
My former best friend is a boy. He was the only one who could understand me. Now that we're not friends anymore, I'm confused. I'm jealous when he's with other girls, and I feel crumpled when he's laughing with others, not me. When I see him, my heart pounds and I feel happy. Do I love him or not? I'm so confused!

According to what you've shared it could be one of two things. Love of course. You might be head over heels for this guy and just discovering it. A lot of amazing relationships/marriages begin with a strong friendship.
OR
It could be jealousy. Maybe you're just feeling replaced by him finding newer friends. No girl wants to be replaced. Even if there was no romantic connection.
My advice to you is to talk to him about it. You never knew maybe he misses you too. And gets jealous when you're with other friends. But you'll never know until you try. Take the first step. Work it out.

it is deffinetly possible that you could love him. or it could be you were just to used to him being around and you miss him with an incredible amount. been there done that...i'm still going through the same thing.. i know it sucks.

Well you might just like him a lot. Love is completely different and when you know you love him, you know and you won't usually question it. Anyway, it's obvious you do like him a lot and may love him as a person but not that whole in love kind of thing.
